Travelodge by Wyndham Miramichi New Brunswick

Location was good even though I felt like I was Shipwrecked with sloped floors! Lol Restaurant was great but should be opened Monday and Tuesday! Breakfast was ok but eggs were not great, eggs and sausages were not hot enough. Could also think about getting a waffle maker! Just a suggestion! For convenience other breakfast items- bagels, yogurt, fruit , juices etc are good! The hubby says coffee is better in room then with breakfast room.

While not as posh as The Rodd in Miramichi, we found a charm to this travel lodge and we're every bit as happy with our experience. Right in the old downtown, with a dollarstore, gas station, subway very close for supplies. Sits right on the Miramichi river like the Rodd and I think the only other one that does. It appears to have a summer time deck right outside the restaurant view. We stayed in March but want to come back in the summer and check it out. Noteworthy was the free breakfast, and buffet style setup so you can choose from eggs, sausage, toast or bagels, cereal, muffins, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee and condiments. Rooms with bar fridge, microwave, small coffee maker, desk and climate control. Beds comfy and soft. Bring laptop or in our case xbox to access streaming, otherwise you're left with cable. The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful!

Being a 3 star hotel, this location is showing signs of its age. That being said, there are obvious signs that the owner has or is in the process of renovations. The lobby, hallways, and rooms are complete or mixed. Found the tub narrow if taking a bath. The pool is small but adequate, no slide or hot tub but not a big deal at all. The restaurant is aged and has a pub feel which is kind of nice. It needed likely the most updating but signs the effort is being made. I would assume this area was shut down largely for the Covid years and now they are back at it, bringing up its appearance. When we return this summer will see how they did.

Location is great. The river view is lovely. The new decor (paint, carpeting and bedding) was really nice and bright. Good tv ,internet connection was great. Breakfast was included and was excellent. The 2 young men dealing with the check in and check out were very pleasant to deal with. We have stayed at this location often when we are in town and are always pleased with the accommodations and the staff.

Directly on the river, so the view is great. New restaurant has an outdoor patio out back, which attracted some locals by boat. We had a one bedroom suite, and the jacuzzi tub was excellent.

Stairwell to the parking at the end of the building was none too clean. A spider the size of a Buick was setting up shop at the upper door corner, but I took care of him.

the room needed a lot of TLC… the toilet ran constantly and had brown stains from the water running continuously… dressers were missing knobs… the shower head only had 3 holes that sprayed and the internet wasn’t strong enough for us to watch a movie on our laptop ..

Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful. Location worked out really well for us as it was close to family. Had good dining options close by.

We were turned away from the restaurant because staff were overwhelmed and couldn't seat people. Seating times were not provided in advance we were just asked to leave.

The swimingpool and the nice view. There are also regular plug outside for electric car. The staff were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and cosy.

The breakfast. It was ok but very basic. the title around swimmingpool was very slippery. But the swimingpool was great, the water clean and warm. One of the bed was very soft.

Price is very reasonable and the staff is always welcoming. Rooms were perfect Coffee was delicious!

Nothing that would stop me from going there but the grounds to get to the hotel are a little surprising. The road to get the is in an older part of the town. But all of a sudden you find this little gem of a hotel nestled on a beautiful spot of the river!!!

Staff were friendly and we loved the location. It was great that they were pet friendly and we so appreciated that the floors aren’t carpeted! Room was clean and comfortable.

My husband wasn’t thrilled with the eggs served for breakfast but it was included in the price and there were plenty of other options so he didn’t go hungry.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The pool was nice and warm. The rooms were clean. We could hear the room beside us very loudly from the hall but it was quiet in our room.

The bed and pillows were not comfortable. I booked a room with 2 queen beds, the beds were doubles not queens.
