Super 8 by Wyndham Revelstoke BC

The girl working the desk in the morning was very kind, we had missed breakfast but she put together a little bag or apples, bananas, yogurts, muffins, plates, etc. which she absolutely didn’t have to do, it was very much appreciated!

One of the sheets was stained, which was very off-putting and the room was a bit dingy, but not horrible. The shower head needs a good soak in some vinegar and baking soda or just needs to be replaced altogether. While I was showering the water was mostly pouring right out instead of the usual spraying which caused the water to hit the tap and splash everywhere, especially outside of the shower and passed the curtain onto the floor and wall.

It was very good location, right off from HWY 1. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very good and specially, Automatic waffle toaster was very nice and there were nice apple and orange juicer,eggs, yogurt, fruit, cereal etc.. I had really good breakfast. If you are planning to visit Banff from Vancouver,BC Stay this place for night and save money instead of expencive hotels in Banff area... it took me only 1 and half hour from Banff national park.

Check-in was fast. The room in general was clean especially the washroom. Adults enjoyed the hot tub while the kids were swimming at the pool. This hotel is one of the few hotels that has laundry room for guests. For me, it is a plus factor because we are not going to pack our swim suits wet. They also provide a ice cube despenser, no charge. They have a free breakfast, it was simple but better than nothing. Coffee, apple juice, orange juice, cereals, toasts, waffles, muffins, bananas and apples were served for our breakfast.

Unfortunately, they run out of detergent when I need to wash our clothes so I have to buy at the convenient store. The only thumbs down is that the headboards were dusty, we noticed it on our bedtime.

The room was quite adequate , beds comfortable, Internet, fridge and Tv worked fine. Breakfast was good.

There wasnt even any plastic cups in the room for drinking water. Only paper coffee cups.. Perhaps was an oversight? No elevator to second floor which made hauling luggage a bit more challenging. (Wasnt aware of that when I said a room on an upper floor was fine.) The small pool was always over run with noisy screaming kids that you could hear halfway down the hallway on the first floor until it closed. NO designated "adult time" only. Even for the hot tub...

No elevator. Carpets outdated (or gave me the idea of being dirty), Beds sheets were made too short so you had to literally pull the sheets and bed cover off from the bottom of the bed in order to be able to pull the sheets to cover your full body. We wanted to watch a movie but you had to pay for it. I thought it was included in the price however you could only watch limited programs on tv.

Location was in a good spot and very beautiful. Amenities were good. Price was good. Bed & pillows were comfortable.

The train tracks were very close to the hotel. There was not much that could be done about the location of the tracks. The trains were rolling through the town quite often durung the day and through the middle of the night. This made for interrupted sleep that even ear plugs couldn't prevent.

It was a good value for the money. The hotel was clean, the room was clean, and any staff we encountered were very friendly. Due to Covid there was no actual breaky, but the staff put brown bags out with a muffin, juice, and granola bar for guests. We would stay there again, I have a work crew that needs a place to stay while working in Revelstoke and I may book them here

The hotel is definitely older but has been updated. We were in a ground level room, and noticed in the bathroom above the tub there was a spot in the ceiling which looks like overflow from the tub above. It was a bit sketchy as it was a little mouldy where the ceiling a wall meet and it did bulge a bit, it looked a bit soft. It looks like it may collapse one day

Easy parking and great location. Comfortable beds, nice towels, and little fridge but no microwave in room. Communal microwave in breakfast area. Very clean pool area. Breakfast consisted of yogurt, bagels and bread, boiled eggs, cereal, waffles, apples and bananas.

Air conditioner in room very noisy.

About a 15 minute drive to the ski resort. Wonderful pack and go breakfast with lots of great coffee, tea, hot chocolate, bean and cheese burrito, yogurt, bananas, apples and brown bag containing muffin, juice and granola bar. Rooms have the sink outside the toilet/shower area and are very spacious. we were 3 adults on a ski trip in the room and didn’t feel cramped.

Due to COVID you have to book a half hour time slot for the hot tub and pool but this is no fault of the hotel as they are just being safe.

great location off the hwy. near town and ski slopes. staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. just don’t expect a quiet motel as walls are paper thin, and takes a long time for the hot water to show up but once it’s going it’s going. perfect for a cheap accommodation and comfortable bed.
