It was all good. Did not expect a luxury resort. We enjoyed our stay. Aspen Village was a good home away from home and we would go there again. Great location for sight seeing, hiking and learning about the area.
At check out did receive a sheet summarizing the costs but did not receive a receipt for actual cost being applied to our credit card. Hope there are no problems later. Arrived around 8:00 pm. to find the desk person closing down the registration; would have been good to know about the shut down. We knew about arrival time but not if there is a check-in deadline. What would have happened if we arrived and the office was locked? Waterton restaurant food prices are really high!

The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was lovely. The location and ability to wake up right in the park was great for an early start to our day of hiking.
We were told the cable TV didn't work, but all the tvs were smart TVs and that we should just be able to access the apps. Despite trying everything, we couldn't get anything to work on it. Unfortunately, the staff didn't really have any solutions or ways to help. Air conditioning would definitely be an asset to the rooms, but it does cool off enough at night thankfully. For the price, breakfast in the morning would also be a nice touch.

very friendly staff, they gave me a room which helped because I’m a senior citizen and picking bags up flights of stairs is very difficult. Walking distance to Waterton town and campground and the lake.
really my stay was quite lovely. The only complaint would be the beds were very hard and uncomfortable. I tried one and since I stayed alone, I tried to keep the other one unused but I was really getting a stiff back so I ended up using the second bed, hoping it would be better. It was slightly better but still too hard.

I /we liked how hard the community worked and how passionate the locals are in rebuilding. The fires were so devastating. It's been 5years we hope the very best recovery for waterton park.
How I was told by booking .com that my rate was 107. a day 107. weekend days. Sure they added up the correct amount. Booking.com gave me the impression it was cheaper. When we were checking in the person working the desk was in the process of giving away our room, right in front of us. The number of our room should have been told to me when I booked. Only if I/we were hours late should they ever consider giving it away. No choices on programs on the TV.

The location is fantastic--close to the lake, stores, and restaurants. The desk staff were friendly and cheerful, very pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The room had a minifridge and microwave. A ceiling fan and portable fans are available. Temperature was fine but lack of air conditioning on a hot summer day could be a problem for some.
Travellers should be aware that if they have a mobility issue to request a ground floor as there is no elevator. Guests above us were very heavy walkers on the first night of our stay.

We booked a duplex cabin with king bed and a kitchenette. All the cabins are close to downtown so we could walk everywhere. We also grabbed some groceries before arrival so we could save some money as meals are expensive in Waterton. Overall, this was a nice place.
Check-in! Unfortunately, the check-in process was poor. Prior to arrival we asked for early check-in and when we arrived at 2pm were told they had not gotten to our room and would call us when it was ready. At 4pm, normal check-in time, we still had not received a call. We went in and asked again if our room was ready. No, it was not. Sadly, there were others trying to check-in and waiting for their rooms. Okay, we get it, covid staffing issues. IF it were my business, I would have at least offered some type of discount for making customers wait several hours to get into their room. We were not offered anything.... no room discount, no voucher for a meal... nothing!

The room was very comfortable and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we were provided with an iron and ironing board. The parking was also very convenient and it was handy having a refrigerator in the room.
We were in the lower level of the building and someone who booked the upper level was moving furniture while we were trying to sleep. This happened over a couple of nights. They were also very noisy when they walked in the suite.

Great location near everything, clean, very comfortable room with everything I needed for a 5 night stay, super comfortable bed.
My only real issue at this hotel was the super thin walls that allow quite a bit of sound transfer. Could hear the next door tv alot of the time at night, & had loudish neighbours a few times during my 5 night stay who I could hear fairly easily through the walls.

The location was in the heart of everything. We walked all over Waterton including up to the Prince of Wales hotel. Only 2 blocks to the main streets with all the restaurants and shops. 2 blocks the other direction to the waterfront. They have bbqs and picnic tables scattered around so we cooked our own dinner one night and ate outside. We will stay there again, maybe book a cabin next time as we had a motel room this time.
The hours the front lobby was open was reduced to only a couple of hours a day due to staffing which was inconvenient as the ice machine is in the lobby.

We really liked the cute and cozy cottage feeling of this place. It fit in very well with Waterton Park and the village atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was well-equipped. The room was a good size and had enough seating.
The carpet was stained and some bathroom tile worn out. We weren’t advised in advance that the recreation centre and pool were closed. Also, we learned only at check in that the TV wasn’t working. We felt the cost should have been lower to reflect the reduced amenities.
