Best Western Plus Hinton Inn & Suites

Travelling from Vancouver to Edmonton by plane and road trip to Hinton Alberta was a memorable experience and check in Best Western Plus Hinton Inn & Suites was impressive with the smile of the reception. The suite can accommodate for family of 5. The bed was comfortable. We regret that we did not stay for another night. The breakfast area was clean even though we used paper plate because of the COVID it was reasonable. The view of this hotel was fantastic. You can see the mountain and only one hour drive to Jasper, Alberta . I will highly recommend this hotel to our friend and of course definitely will come back again from Vancouver, Canada🇨🇦. Thank you

There is mothing to say much it was reasonable price for us

The breakfast was decent. good value for money. The location was perfect. The pool was not accessible. So children were disappointed.

The rest of the staff were courteous. But the elderly lady staff in the kitchen was quite rude when my husband told her that the milk needed to be replaced. She responded 'the cow died' and walked away, saying 'I am alone here'. Was quite taken aback by her rudeness.

The only thing was we went for breakfast, and the chair my daughter sat on had a broken leg. So she ended up tipping sideways, spilling her orange juice to the left and right of her, and all down her new shirt bought for an activity we had planned in jasper that day. We put the chair in the corner and made sure the kitchen and front desk staff knew what had happened.

Spacious room and bathroom in this business hotel. Lots of parking.

Breakfast room far too small and chaotic for 100 room hotel. Queue for "make your own" waffle machine made the chaos worse. Staff were finding it difficult to keep up with refilling items, which meant there was less available at peak times. Food was very basic for a quality hotel.

Stay was good and had good breakfast options

The customer service wasn’t that great . Front desk was asked multiple times to have a manager speak to us for room upgrade but no one cared !! And the meme get never contacted us , while when we stopped every time in the 3 days to speak to him , front desk said he is busy !!

I really liked this hotel. We usually prefer to stay in apartments but in Jasper and nearby it is hard to find anything with kitchen and with adequate price at the same time. So for me the family suit was the best alternative - there was a frying surface, full size fridge and quite roomy space. My kid loved the pool and hot tube area thought it was quite overcrowded as for me. The location is awesome for those who likes Jasper but hates to pay triple price for accommodation there. I cannot say that I liked Hinton itself, mostly because it is not even a village but a huge parking near the motorway but there were all the essentials and I quite got used to getting around by car.

I would suggest the hotel to extend the public areas to match the size of the hotel. Maybe even add some outdoor chilling places, because now it is just a building surrounded by parking. It is not a big concern but it feels a bit captured inside.

Clean, convenient and fair price.

The kitchenette in Our Room did not have the equipment to prepare a meal. The kitchenettes are equipped with only two plates, two forks, two knives and so on. The front staff were exceptional and they gave us extra plates and utensils for our family of four. The small fry pan was beat up and not usable. Other than the issues with the kitchenette, this place is great.

Excellent staff, comfy beds, nice breakfast, quiet even though the hotel was booked solid, good parking, nice hot tub/pool, grab n go breakfast, and on and on.

Booking.com didn’t give an accurate description of our room...... so the hotel gave me a discount which was very much appreciated. The room was still magnificent.....

My family and I spent a night here, and I wish I could have stayed longer! This place is very affordable. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the amenities, especially the pool and hot tub. Our room was comfortable and clean. The food was delicious. The location was good since it's near many establishments. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable yet comfy place to stay at!

Clean, good breakfast and nice friendly staff

The pool was closed for maintenance, no water in pool and only a working hot tub. Disappointing when travelling with kids and looking forward to getting out some energy after being cooped up in vehicle all day . Purposely picked hotels with pools for this reason.
