Absolutely gorgeous hotel! The lush greenery and architecture gave the hotel a true oasis feeling in the middle of the city. Our room was beautiful and the bed super comfortable. Great location in walking distance of many sights and popular restaurants. The staff was very kind and helpful. The pools were great to relax in after (and/or before) a hot day. We will definitely stay here again - I can only recommend it to anyone!

The breakfast was delicious, but since the menu stayed the same and was rather limited, it was getting a bit difficult to choose something that would satisfy us by the third day. But this is just a minor thing - we still enjoyed it.

An oasis in a busy city. The hotel is off a busy street and only a block away from the palace and an extremely touristy area of the city however you would never know. Nestled behind a wall, the whole place is covered in trees and plants, so much so it looks like a forest. As such, it keeps it really cool. I sat out many days on the loungers and didn’t feel the heat, however taking a step outside the wall, you were smacked with the heat! We had a room off the main building in a little hut, it was stunning. I truly felt like I was on holidays and away from the rest of the world. Breakfast was all you can eat but ordered, you ordered what you want and the cook it fresh for you. Water was in refillable glass bottles which was great as to cut down the plastic use in an already polluted city. The pools were stunning, the front pool just gorgeous but hardly any one ever used it, I think because it’s a bit strange that it sits along the restaurant so people are sitting and eating or drinking and you are in the pool. This meant the sun pool was always busy. The staff were friendly, especially the breakfast staff. Leakhana?? She was super sweet. Other than that, as reception was away from the entrance and you didn’t have to pass there to get to your room, the staff really didn’t interact with you at all. It felt weird to go in the main pool as people eating around it so the back pool ended up busy.

Great location - close to walk to central Phnom Penh, grand palace, the river, celebration park.. Lovely staff, couldn't do enough... Gorgeous oasis of gardens with 2 different pools with different ambience and sheltered outdoor cafe/bar...very peaceful Just lovely. If ever go back, will definitely book here again. Already recommended to friends. Built 1920 for their then Queen Mother. Additional in-keeping buildings added to increase accommodation but still feels small+ intimate. Small gym available.

Nothing! Though having seen how lovely some of the suites are in the main building, might splash out on one of those if ever get the chance!

A hotel that really deserves all the excellent reviews. Set in the heart of Phnom Penh it is within walking distance of many attractions/sights.It has a very calm and tranquil setting a bit like a spa hotel. The staff are excellent especially the Receptionist who works the afternoon shift (sorry I do not remember the name) . The room was light and airy -very spacious as we booked the suite and everything worked well. Breakfast is good but you need to specifically say what you want e.g. if you ask for bacon they will bring ..one slice so you need to say x pieces 😂 Fabulous, great value, stay in an interesting City. We will stay here again

The staff were exceptional, very welcoming and helpful. The grounds are a lush green oasis within the chaos of the city. It is hard to believe that it's located in the middle of Phnom Penh. A true hidden gem. The architecture and interior design is beautiful, a mix of French colonial with Ming dynasty accents. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the linen was so soft. We stayed in one of the private pool rooms, which are small but tastefully arranged and the privacy of the small pool was a treat. There are two other pools on site, but we didn't have enough time to enjoy them all, so I cannot comment on them. We would definitely stay here again. Overall outstanding.

The only comment I have is on the breakfast, the menu is great and unlimited, however, the execution's of the menu was not. Most of the items we ordered were cold and didn't seem to be cooked to order. Other than that everything else was truly amazing.

Pavilion is a great option during your time in Phnom Penh. It is very centrally located and near Street 240 which has a few restaurants and shops. When you are on the property, you don’t feel like you are in the city. It is a great place to rest after a long day of touring or a place to spend a day of rest. Our room was comfortable and quiet. They provide free water in refillable glass bottles. We appreciated this effort in managing plastic waste. We arrived early and had to wait to check-in, but we were able to enjoy the pools and restaurant. The hotel held our bags for us after check-out as our flight wasn’t until the evening. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would certainly return to this property.

I've stayed in many hotels in many cities in many parts for the world. The bottom line is that this is a charming and well appointed hotel - an oasis of unexpected calm and luxury in the middle of a bustling city. Yes, undoubtedly there are more luxurious places - but this has a very well maintained, old world charm. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. If I found myself in Phnom Penh again I would stay here without any hesitation. I guess the final point is that this might have been the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed at.....

Nothing at all

Beautifully elegant architecture, the pavilion palace is certainly the most “Instagrammable” place I’ve ever stayed. Complete with Theo swimming pools, lush jungle greenery, and poolside bar & restaurant, Pavilion’s open-air courtyard ambiance is great…until it rains. Rooms are incredibly spacious and elegant with all modern, high-end amenities and staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. I wish we could have stayed longer (we only stayed for one night) and taken advantage of all of the nice features!

This is not a knock on the hotel itself (as there are few negatives to speak of) but the clientele that Pavillion seems to attract tend to be pretty wealthy, entitled and fairly obnoxious westerners that are somewhat insufferable to be around so just be warned (I really feel for the staff). Also not the hotel’s fault but it poured rain the entire evening we were there, which limited our ability to truly experience Pavillion to the fullest. I was glad we were able to take a morning dip in the pool and have breakfast in the front courtyard before departing.

Arriving in Cambodia for the first time, I desired a soft and comfortable landing. It surely was. A tropical oasis in the centre of town. I was very impressed with the pools and gardens and the absense of city noise. I had no idea I was in the centre of a big busy city. The staff are very friendly and treated me like royalty. My room had much natural light and was very cool even witout the ac on, probably due to the thick walls and many double glass windows. Whenever I need to stay in PP, I will definitely consider the Pavilion.

A few minor things that may require improvement in order to reach perfection.

Most amazing, charming boutique hotel set in a tropical garden ! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit and did everything to make me comfortable. Upon arrival I did not choose to take the upgrade of the room, as I wanted to stay in the historical building, then staff offered me a free 60 min massage instead. On my day of departure I had to leave the hotel before breakfast time, so I was given a big bag of “ breakfast to go” including hot coffee ! everyone in the hotel was charming and helpful. The garden and pool/ restaurant area are very clean and beautiful to spend a refreshing afternoon!
