A very nice hotel conveniently placed near the beaches, with excellent restaurant. The quality of the food for breakfast was exceptional, and I had the opportunity to dine in the restaurant as well. Both the food and the service were exemplary.

The TV broke after the first night of my stay, and there was no way to fix it. I would not watch it very much, but would like to occasionally glance at the news (especially given the massive power outage in the country on Tuesday morning). Also, the hotel of this stature and reputation should offer guests a complimentary bottle of water upon arrival.

Everything very comfortable hotel. Fabulous! Super great beds, linens, showers, and nice large spacious room.

The tap water is not drinkable, and they charge you for bottled water. Thats crazy! We travel a lot and that is not the norm!! The shower amenities very skimpy. The restaurant menu is not very exciting. Very little variety. A corkscrew in the room with wine glasses would be a nice touch. Had to chase down getting a wine opener, twice! The pool area can use you some ambiance. It’s very basic but super clean. Check in can be a bit quicker.

The breakfast was fantastic, with many fresh and tasty options. The hotel facilities seem new, very well-maintained, and the room very comfortable and cozy, with very soft bed linens, a selection of pillows, easily adjustable air-conditioning, and extremely pleasant lighting scenarios. The location is superb, very close to the airport and just a 5-minute walk to the Boa Viagem shoreline.

The breakfast didn't have any veggie salad choices, only cooked foods, cakes and fruits. Not keto friendly. The coffee machine served already sugared cappuccino. No USB plugs in the room The plugs in the room all have tiny holes so are not compatible with European plugs

You will find anything you may need within walking distance, beach two blocks away. The amazing thing about this hotel is the kindness of the staff, exceptional!!! Thank you to everyone, Karina and Livia at reception, great guys at restaurant, adorable Nildo , Eduardo, etc making our morning breakfasts the best!!!

Amazing hotel with excellent service and attention to small details. Room super clean well equipped and comfortable. A/C with electronic thermostat of temperature. Breakfast excellent with quality items ( also fitness light food for health conscious ) and amazing omeletes tapiocas (5 star quality ) and fruits. Also lunch buffet was excellent quality and value. Area of pool and gym is very nice at top. Also business room was functioning great. In room cafe and tea machine very useful. Finally asked for a late check out and hotel staff courtesy provided. I would definitely visit again. Parabéns por serviço excelente.

Areas for improvement 1. At pool some renovation of pool tiles is essential because seem very old although pool is clean. 2. Maybe add some comfortable pillows on sunbeds. 3.in room the office desk chair although trendy design is very uncomfortable to sit and work. Some improvements there is needed.

Proximity to the beach, restaurants, live music, shopping. Gym was a good size and excellent for a holiday workout. Beds were big and comfy aa were the rooms. Staff spoke english and were full of great tips and ideas of where and what to do.

On Saturday night i could clearly hear the thumping of the adjacent bar until 4am, thankfully it was only 1 night. Breakfast is the same day after day (which I didn't mind) but the reataurant can get crowded at times.

Very convenient due to its good location. It is close to the airport and just a short walk to the pleasant Feira de Boa Viagem. Staff was very friendly and helpful since day one. I am glad I found such a nice hotel for this really reasonable price. I did not have time to check the pool on the rooftop, unfortunately, however other guests seemed to have enjoyed it very much.

Shower water could be a little bit hotter, but other than that I got nothing else to complain about.

The location is very good for those who need to go to the airport. Nice rooftop. Overall it is ok as a business hotel. Very appreciated the fact that there is no carpet in the room.

I visited the hotel in 2015 and when it was managed by Marriot the quality was much higher. Some of the common areas should be renewed. Bathroom was not perfectly clean.

The Bugan was a great choice for our overnight stay in Recife. The hotel is well run with warm, efficient staff, provides a comfortable room with a bed that delivered an excellent night’s sleep. We ate our arrival dinner, morning breakfast buffet, and lunch buffet here before we continued our drive. All the meals were delicious with excellent service. There is a lap pool on the roof if a person wants a pleasant workout swim. We were very pleased with our choice.

Just a small improvement could be made. There is only one chair at the table/desk and we were 2 people so someone had to sit on the bed. I think when 2 people are booked into a room a second chair could be placed at the desk. It would be appreciated.
