The Grove Hotel & Conference Centre Bahrain

Room was excellent, staff were all very good.

I booked this hotel specifically because on booking.com it advertised an indoor pool, there is no indoor pool! Picture shows a beach, this hotel has no beach. They did provide transport to another Grove facility which had a beach. I decided to leave the pool area because two sets of inconsiderate guests were competing with each other to play their music the loudest over phone speakers, no staff present to ask them to have some manners! The hotel is "dry" which is not a problem but it would be nice to state that in the information as opposed to just not saying there is a bar. "Breathtaking sea & Amwaj Lagoon views" they may have been there but they were almost invisible through the dirty windows lining the pool and the rooms on the 14th floor! See attached photo.

The bed is not very comfortable I wish the bathroom had better lighting The parking spots are tiny and you can only access the hotel from the third floor, so if you don’t find a parking spot on the last floor, get ready to do some cardio.

Its not actually about the property but its was really disappointing when lady from receptionist call me for check out and i told her wanna extend untill 3 pm she said we cant extend maximum we can do untill 2 pm i said ok, when i went down for check out i discovered that my check out time was 3 pm . I was really mad about it. Its not a big deal but it was a lie from her. Her name was tala or something like that i home u teach her not to lie to the customer at least !!!! Im regular customer for this lovely hotel i wish the good for the hotel thats why im telling u guys. Thank you and best regards.

No valet parking The elevator was in the last level of the parking Most of the near parking was taken (one car is taking 2 parking) it was so difficult for us as a ladies to find a park and walk. When we request for something it took very long time to reach after more than 2 to 3 calls to the resorption. Last day for the check out we tried to reach to the resorption with no respose and we collected out bags and such alone to ground floor. I hope to solve these issurs as these are important things when this is such a good / wonderful hotel.

This hotel outperformed my expectations! It has a free sauna and jacuzzi area for guests, the swimming pool at the rooftop and the highlight was the vouchers to the famous Solymar beach! :) I enjoyed a lot! I would like to highlight not only the amazing hotel facilities but the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. I am a frequent traveler but it was the first time hotel gave a later check out at 15:00 for free. I used this time to go to the beach and explore Bahrain, and it was very comfortable to have the room at my disposal to rest before the journey back. Also the hotel has a very beautiful aesthetics, wonderful flower arrangements in the lobby and in the dining room. The room was super clean and quiet and had a bath to relax, not only the shower. I also ordered a few dishes from the restaurant and they were delicious and prepared very quickly. Amazing service and hospitality! Well done, Grove Hotel! :)

-The staff is exceptionally kind and professional. -The rooms are clean, and housekeeping is excellent. -The rooms are spacious and pleasant. -The swimming pool has a beautiful view on the roof.

-The location is only ideal for persons who are planning on staying in that area because it is far from other areas. -The swimming pool service is poor and needs to be improved. They should offer music and not allow people to play music on their own and bother others. -Breakfast is overpriced, and there are no options for persons with dietary restrictions. -The TVs in the rooms are too old for a hotel of this level, and they should be replaced.

Our room has been spacious and with great view over the lagoon and overseeing Manama city line. The staff was friendly and super helpful. Hotel provides number of facilities: swimming pool, gym, spa services, Irish pub with bowling, pool and darts to play, restaurant also serving buffet over the evening hours. Keep that in mind, Bahrain is not a pedestrian country, you need a car to get almost anywhere. Even when something is located 5-10 min walk on the map, it won’t be an easy or comfortable one. Having all the necessary things in one place become an impossible point, which may often not be the case for a lot of destinations.

Nothing really, however it would be an improvement to have a coffee machine in the room.

The location was great! A short distance from the Lagoon and restaurants. The daily access to Sokymer beach for free with your stay was fab. Aesthetically, it's a nice hotel.

The internet connection wasn't straight forward and I had a lot of trouble connecting. The reception staff explained this to me on my last day, but it would've been good to have a print out in the room along with the menus' etc. The facilities don't open until 10am. This was a bit annoying as I'm an early bird, so getting into the gym or the pool before 10am would have been nice.
