Tribe Perth

Great team of people at Tribe. Made us very welcome and made sure or stay was as pleasant as possible. Had a city view room (607) and having an entire wall as a window gave an impressive view. Loved the open dining, foyer cafe area and had breakfast there both mornings. Yes the rooms are small, but we were there to discover the city so we were out all day and the size didn't bother us.

It was a pity that our air con unit wasn't working perfectly during our stay, but as mentioned above the staff worked really hard to resolve this issue for us and followed up during our stay once the service team had been through. Maybe more than 2 coffee pods would be nice!

The location is great being just outside the city centre and the staff are very helpful. I love the quirkiness of the downstairs area with lots of different areas to relax.

The room is quite small but the bed was comfortable. It's a shame the food service is no longer offered.

A lovely modern hotel with great beds, air con and a very helpful staff for the most part.

A few things rankled a little: 1. When I arrived, I wasn’t met with a ‘hi’ or ‘how can I help you’ or even a ‘do you have a reservation with us?’. I was met with literally nothing and had to introduce myself and explain I was staying there to someone who seemed confused about it? 2. About 10 mins after I got into my room, I had a call on my in-room phone. I didn’t answer, but instead called reception after. They weren’t sure why I got a random call. This was quite annoying. 3. I left some shirts in the room - now to be sure, I got them back for which I’m thankful. But I had to call and message multiple times to elicit a response. And when I went to collect them, my ironed and hung shirts were presented to me crumpled in a broken plastic bag. Quite odd.

Nice eclectic little hotel in the west side of the city. Decent location close to Kings Park and fairly easy to get to wherever you need to go. Smart design utilising the smaller room size without it feeling small. Designers have done a great job. Maybe could do with a slight refresh, but for the price I paid I'm not complaining just mean it constructively :). Will stay again.

Room service maybe a little bit average, but didn't eat at the bar this visit to see how its presented normally just a bit odd to get food in a paper bag and a bit sloppy, but was still tasty. Would give it another go as we might have just caught the end of service arriving late. Maybe a little more coffee/tea in the room (ie. more than just 1 per guest) would be nice.

The hotel was very nice for the money we paid. Not wanting anything too expensive as we were going to be out for majority of the time it suited us for a place to sleep each night after our days. A lot of hotels for similar price tend to be run down and lack general maintenance. Hotel was in a nice central location making it easy to get to everywhere we needed to go.

Firstly, the rooms were tiny. I get we aren't paying a premium but there was barely any space for us to have luggage on the floor or cupboards and/or to even move around each other in the room. Secondly, was advertised as "parking available" but it was street parking only and not ideal to have to be renewing the parking every 3 hours at a total cost of around $42 for any work day. Lastly, TV's only had free to air TV.. couldn't even use our netflix account on them. I've stayed in dirt cheap motels for work where they at least have netflix on the tv's to be able to use your own account.

The beds are new and very comfortable! The hotel has a hipster vibe and a fantastic common lounge where you can spend the day relaxing, computering or even meeting your friends for some connect time.

The pillows are not comfortable: stiff and hard. They are all the same so no relief from that characteristic. The bathroom is enclosed with a heavy glass door so is a bit stale and faintly musty. You must keep it closed or risk setting off the fire alarm from steam and thus pay for the false callout of the Emergency services.

Compact room with all the facilities contained as seen in any of the larger hotel chains. Really impressed with how every bit of space in our room was used. So peaceful and quiet, although situated in the city no traffic or sirens could be heard to disturb our sleep, so very likely double glazed windows, only heard the occasional closing of a neighbour’s door. Loved the huge floor to ceiling window, giving views out to Perth city in our case or on the other side of the hotel out to Kings Park. Delightful boutique hotel, so pleased Perth is embracing the concept of such accomodation as cities nationally and internationally have done for years. Continental breakfast was all one needs to start the day and very friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money.

No complaints

The bed was comfy. I like the use of space in the room considering the size of the room. Every nook and cranny has a use. I love the design and decor of the dining and lounging areas. It's like there's a spot for everyone to cater for every need. I love how there was a huge bookcase full of all sorts of books. The tables with usb chargers is a brilliant touch. And how any party, doesn't matter how big can make use of the long tables and have a lan(?) gaming party. Is that what they're called? I liked the lighting layout in the rooms. The toiletries smelt devine... I loved how you included body lotion..

The room temperature was cold but the staff gave me a heater to use. I needed a place for a couple nights and this was the cheapest I could find but I felt the room was overpriced. I've stayed in apartment before for the same price. I get that prices have gone up but I still felt it was overpriced. I was disappointed that I couldn't have a cooked breakfast. I was supposed to have a friend for dinner on one of the nights but the menu had only one option for being proper gluten free. So she ate before coming. I wasn't too keen on the hand sculpture in the room.

Room, breakfast and service of staff. Location being only a short walk from kings park (a beautiful place for early morning walk) and 2kms from CBD

Not much I didn't like but if i had to pick something i was surprised there was no bacon available at the restaurant. My only other suggestion is that with rental bikes they would benefit by having some form of phone holder so we could safety use the phone for navigation.

Room was ideal for 1 person. Bed very comfortable. Close to Kings Park and good shopping in Watertown and Claremont quarter. Close to major hospitals. I loved the soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Lovely towels and flannels. Shower was good. I loved the funkiness of the decor.

Lack of free parking. $30 a day is very expensive if you are not in your hotel during the day. Very inconvenient to park on street and pay parking meters. Room service not available on Sundays, Mondays or Tuesdays if I wanted a snack.
