New, comfy, clean beds, large lounge, good location, modern fitout. Bathrooms were clean, bunk beds well equipped W PowerPoints and shelving. Overall comfortable, secure and quiet.

Terrible cooking facilities. Overstuffed fridges, abandoned food, groceries bags overflowing on the floor and no stove. What a shame. Two other points. I was put in a room with two night shift workers, which makes it awkward. Also the top bunk is very, very high. Again, I found that to be awkward.

Very clean, comfy mattresses & beds, liked the shelves in the bed, cabinets in rooms to keep your things that you could lock (need to bring own padlock), great having ensuite for each room. Great having a big common area with free pool tables for use & lots of seating, luggage store helpful for checkout. Was secure, needs key card to get into building as well as corridor and then rooms. Quiet in the rooms & corridors, could not hear the noise from the common areas.

Very small kitchen with no ovens or stove tops but had ample fridge space, my key card frequently did not work so had to keep getting it reset. Not the most social hostel but a good hostel in itself

Lovely dorm rooms with comfortable beds, handy charging ports and a clean bathroom with a good shower. Staff were kind and helpful.

No cooking facilities except for a microwave, very expensive considering there are no cooking facilities. It is a nice hostel but not worth $70 per night.

Very clean very comfortable bed of good size not just a regular standard size single.very quiet surroundings and also private with having access cards to your own dormitory. Easy access to the city and Blue Cat buses run just around the corner both directions and free. Easy access to Woolies and IGA and East Perth station is within easy walking distance as is TGWa bus station, under one roof. Would stay at G every time without considering others

Shower head is broken somehow and needs replacing as it keeps falling to its lowest point . I realise toasting sandwiches are reasonable to produce for breakfast and clean. But not appealing to everybody aplate of cereal or a bacon or egg sandwich might be a good option but I know more work more cleaning .messy to produce so etwas dearer.

The hostel is close to the station, just a 5 minute walk, and very close to the city centre (10 minutes walk). If you come earlier than your check-in time, you can chill on the sofa, use the restroom, and leave your baggage. The bathroom gets cleaned daily, you can change your towels everyday and you have free WiFi. The kitchen is spacious and you have fridges where you can store your food.

The fridges in the kitchen are always full, I think they are not enough for how many people there were in the hostel. Unfortunately, there was a group of people who left the kitchen quite dirty every evening and would use every single item without cleaning it, leaving food in the sink, as well. The bathroom was fine but the sink was so small and it was put under a shelf which made it quite impractical to use.. The beds were fine but I wish it was a curtain to give more privacy, also because the beds were really close one to the other. Also, it was too expensive for what it really was.

Overall the room was clean and quiet. The other ladies sleeping in my rooms were respectful to each other and everyone always went to bed early. I mistakenly booked the room 7 nights which actually only needed 6 nights, as I read my plane ticket incorrectly. I wrote to the manager, he was kind enough to refund the extra 1 night. Thank you very much! My son stayed at the student accommodation "The Switch", I walked from my son's place to Hostel G for the 6 nights I stayed there, the neighbourhood felt safe with bright street lights. I have never been to Perth, was looking for a women only room, and I'm glad I found your Hostel.

The mattress that I slept in was slightly "sinking" in the middle, I have to sleep slightly to the edge for a firmer support.

the laundry app is ridiculously handy. so quick and easy and you can buy your washing powder at the desk. Most of the staff are superb. a couple not so much but i'd say its a ratio of like 5:1 so good luck. Great communal areas for working, socialising, watching stuff on the big screen. loads of games and stuff too. Pretty affordable if you're just popping through the city.

No curtain or privacy on the beds. But honestly it wasn't too bad. if you're on the bottom bunk put your head away from the ladder to the top bunk. The ladder legs are quite thin and people are dumb so step on you in the night. The food and drink place should be open a bit longer I think. Bar isn't really a thing till thursday nights.

Clean and new rooms. I wasn’t expecting own bathroom so that was really nice. There was enough power points in the room. And Wifi worked well. I also liked the breakfast (coffee and toast from the bistro).

The room should have more hooks for clothes and towels etc. Also it’s a bit noisy when someone upstairs is playing piano for the whole night and voices from the street also comes to the rooms (there is student accommodation I think?). But I was fine with a pair of ear plugs. Kitchen is not made for cooking. There is no stove in there. Micro-ovens works also like normal oven so that could be used. My opinion is that there should be better kitchen from backpackers point of view.

Comfy bed and glad to have secured it for a week. Wanted to stay longer. But there seems to be some confusion between what staff can see on the availability and what you can find online. Kept being told there is no space to extend. Then the next guy to stay in our room is able to extend his. Even though he asked later. Asked if there was availability later in the week, was told no, 5 minutes later was able to book a few days later in the week via the website. So something going on there. Quiet hostel, good to get started in Perth.

Alot of people here are working full time or FIFO. That is very good, but then they are the ones hogging all the availability. When fresher backpackers arrive waiting for work and they cannot get affordable accomodation because of all the people working. I think once you reach a certain age, or if you are working and earning good money, then maybe you should be finding alternative accommodation to the hostel designed for backpackers whilst they are visiting and waiting for the first paycheck.
