Oaks Broome Hotel

We had travelled to Broome for the Staircase to the Moon event and this accommodation was a 2 minute walk to Town Beach for viewing. The one-bedroom apt had everything we could possibly want, with shaded balcony. The pool area was lovely, though the water too cold for when we were there. The local bus close by - buy 10-ride ticket and go anywhere around Broome - great value.

Misunderstanding about the "please clean my room" notice - these room notices also have "do not disturb" on other side and cleaning staff had assumed we did not want to be disturbed, so our room was not cleaned on the day after a public holiday when no cleaning had been done. Attention management - perhaps 2 separate notices would be best! Dining options a bit limited and expensive.

The hotel a nice comfortable hotel

The location is good but you have to depend on the suttle bus that goes around town and finishes at 6h30pm. The issue I had is that after a lond day tour I found my door not closed (iclosed it tightly when I left in the morning so only the cleaning personnel could have have done this negligence) properly with the outside corridor light off. This was a perfect burglar opportunity. I went to reception to report the situation and the lady said that sometimes doors are hard to close trying to "protect" the personnel. At 400aud a night hotel, this is by far the most issreponsible response I have ever had. Maybe it reflects the entire Oaks Management irresponsibility.

There are two pools that are both excellent. Such a relaxing vibe, quiet and clean. Just out of town which meant it was quiet but close enough to the action and easily accessible to everything Broome has to offer.

The food is a little basic, but cocktails are the bomb. The price is getting more and more steep which is becoming almost impossible for locals like myself to continue to visit. I am having to stay elsewhere in the July holidays due to being priced out I come to Broome every two or three months as a regular. But finding it more and more difficult to find affordable accommodation.

The one-bedroom apartment was spacious & well fitted out. Bed was comfortable & the air con was on when we arrived which was much appreciated in that climate at that time of year The staff in the restaurant where we had breakfast were excellent. The reception staff were also great. We appreciated being able to store our luggage for our return visit

We stayed two days initially, then had an 8 day cruise organized & came back to Oaks for the final two days. On this second stay we had to get cleaning staff back because the fridge hadn't been emptied of food from previous occupant!

Good area near local bus stop or easy walk into town. Staff were great very helpful. The breakfast and dinner were very delicious. Najia in the restaurant was a smiling helpful happy person very efficient.

Please get in house, house keeping The room was clean. Had to ask to get linen changed. I feel housing didn’t really care very much about the job they were doing which was a shame.

We loved the location and the fact that there was secure parking for our hire car. The size of the room and features were all we needed for our stay. Staff and restaurant were both great.

The TV in the room was old and could have had chrome cast so we could have used the TV selecting our own choices from our phone. The bedroom had a large window into the en-suite. No covering was provided for those who may be shy. Otherwise the Oaks meet all expectations.

Breakfast was great

The only thing, you have 2 amazing pools which are so inviting, but everyone that went to get in, got back out as they were too cold. I understand it's hot, and people want to cool down, but I thinknif it was a couple degrees warmer, everyone would be in the pools. That was part off our plan to chill by the pool for the last leg of our holiday before returning to cold Tasmania, but I couldn't swim in it

Wonderful hotel in Broome, close to the town and Matso's, spacious room, clean bathrooms, good views (from some rooms). Pool is excellent, staff nice and helpful.

The room (floor) wasn't cleaned properly when I got in. The rest was fine but not exceptional. Entering the secure parking with card was quite annoying, as the card did not work most of the time, and seems like for all guests, not just us. The food still not great, so recommend eating elsewhere

The layout of the complex is aesthetic and easy to move around. Elevators available even though it is only 3 storeys high. The pools are large and have plenty of space around them for seating. It feels comfortable/spacious. The staff were friendly and enquired after you to make sure you were well catered for.

Not the fault of the staff or hotel, just reduced services as a result of COVID-19 impacts on staffing levels and ability to offer activities, especially not being able to have the restaurant/bar fully functioning all day reduced the atmosphere and enjoyment of the great facilities. There aren't many alternatives in the immediate area - but it was still very nice!

serviced apartment ,without being intrusive,two bedrooms ,two bathrooms ,aircon ,fans ,wonderful large pool with access from ground floor apartment’s pool towels were supplied. There is a licensed restaurant with casual dining for breakfast and evening meals . also a secure parking area for cars behind the complex ,which was very convenient for us .
