-Living room sliding door (access to garden) was really hard to open/ close. Need a guy to push the door super hard. One night we didnt manage to close the door as it was not pushable. We hv mentioned this issue & hopefully will get sorted. - Exhaust fan in downstairs bathroom need cleanup for sure - Parking is available on site however it can be challenging sometimes to get your car in when the alley is full if cars.

I stayed with Sullivan Cove Apartments @ the Gibson Mill apartments. It is right on the Hobart waterfront, so heaps to do around the apartments. The apartment itself was extremely comfortable, very well equipped, with a full kitchen that included a stovetop, oven, microwave and dishwasher, which was great for me being a coeliac as I could control my own dietary requirements. There was also a washer and dryer. The lounge room had a decent size with a comfortable lounge. There was a separate dining table, and separate bedroom and bathroom.
The lighting in the room and the privacy were issues. I was in 204 and had to keep the blinds closed, as if the person in 203 walked out their door, they could see into my apartment. Also that meant the lighting wasn't fantastic. A desk lamp would have also been beneficial....

Great location to restaurants, waterfront, Salamancia markets, CBD, Ferry to Mona Friendly staff, Spacious apartment (main bathroom was a bit small for two bedroom apartment) with everything you would need for a comfortable stay.
There was a minor wear and tear in the apartment we were staying in. The dishwasher was not working as they were waiting for a spare part. That is fine but we should have been told that upon check in. When I did mention this to staff they provided us with the option of moving into a new apartment - great customer service.

We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom Executive Suite in the IXL Jam Factory building. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. Hobart was half way through our travels around Tasmania so it was wonderful to have access to a washing machine. The huge bath was wonderful as well. And we loved enjoying coffee or wine on the large balcony.
In the ensuite the shower comes directly from the ceiling. I hate getting my hair wet, unless I'm washing it of course, so I showered in the second bathroom so all was well. I wouldn't have liked it if there wasn't a second bathroom.

We loved our apartment in every way except for the ensuite. the staff are wonderful from first contact right through. The apartment was well equiped and wa spotlessly clean, we loved the position.
The ensuite was possibly the worst designed bathroom any of us have ever had the misfortune to use. The shower heads behind the grill just splattered everywhere except down and the shower being so narrow and screenless just sprayed the water went half way up the walls. soaking everything. The shelf behind the vanity was the only spot high enough to get away from the splashing and it's too narrow to stand even the smallest of toilet bags. Fire that designer!

Rollaway bed for our 6th person was a bit of a pain. Main shower a bit messy - lots of water on the floor. No standalone toilet. Main issue was the first apartment we were put into - 13 Marine Terrace, Battery Point. Was definitely not to our expectations. Lovely spot, but poor location for us. Very dated, in desperate need of renovation. Felt misled about the apartment we booked. Swapped after one night. Very well handled by the staff and ended up really enjoying our stay.

Very luxurious and plenty of room. Immaculately clean and beds so comfy. Just loved the entire appartment. Bath was so nice with private garden view. I think it was cleverly designed and so roomy. Id highly recommend and will definately come back here to stay. I have stayed in 2 other beautiful hotels in same area but i prefer this one for comfort for a family as it has everything you need. Thankyou for a lovely weekend. My son and i just loved it.

Fully equipped kitchen (pots/pans/utensils/bake ware etc); in winter, the living room temperature control + heated towel racks is a treat; located 2 min walk to nearby restaurants by the wharf and 10mins walk to Salamanca strip; 2 smart TV's with extra channels; on level 3 we had a brightly lit living room & bed room - and the place really felt spacious; comfy lounge; convenient powered blinds; huge bathtub and quality toiletries (esp. liked the handwash & bodywash fragrance).
It wasn't an inherently noisy place, but we could hear noise from the corridor or loud trucks on the road which might be an issue if you're a light sleeper (if so, bring ear plugs). Took a bit of twiddling with switches to work out how to turn on kitchen bench lights. Extra fee for car parking - although that is stated clearly in their website.

we arrived about 8pm so office was closed. we hadnt recieved text or email so tried multiple times to phone but impossible . some kind local driver helped us, eventually got hold of someone and found lockbox at another location then had to walk 10 mins with luggage to the allocated apartment. by the time we got there there was nothing open for dinner. the apartment was great but the process was not. on original booking documentation it says nothing about the apartments not being at the office address. extremely confusing

This is my 3rd stay at Sullivan's Cove- l would and have, highly recommended it.
However, this visit the shower head was broken resulting in an unpleasant first night and next morning! I wasn't able to ask for the shower to be repaired until 0830 the next day. There was no apology given. Also l don't understand why they key cannot be left at the apartment itself- l was asked to drop it back to Hunter st. A later check out was requested twice (just an hour) but not given.
