Rockhampton Palms Motor Inn

The owners were very nice, My partner and I used the mini bar that was provided as the prices are very fair. Room was cleaned when needed as they do a daily room service. We enjoyed how close it is to the leagues club as we went to the Thai restaurant and the pub restaurant and both times we had great service and the food was great. Will definitely stay here again.

There could be a bit more privacy for the fencing near the pool but still had a couple of swims as the weather was good for it.

Nice comfortable motel in Rockhampton. We stayed for one night here and found it really pleasant with lots of nice little touches. The free milk and water were lovely as were the tea/coffee and the coffee pods machine! The mini bar prices are normal, not extortionate and everything in the room is exactly what you need. Decent shower with good water pressure and hot water. Bed a bit too soft but still good, plenty of closet space and a very large room overall. Parking directly outside your door or by the back gate if you have a particularly tall (3m+) vehicle Enjoyed our stay. Ideal for a night & good value!

Ideally use your car to move around in the town as well, as the main things in walking distance are fast food places, but the town's famous restaurants etc are a bit further out and it's not the most walking friendly place.

We did not eat Breakfast at the Motel as we had plans to dine somewhere else. We loved the location, the facilities were great and if it had of been a little warmer we would have enjoyed the pool. The room size was quite reasonable and suited our needs. Would most likely stay again.

Like most accommodation the AC always has issues. The main road that runs along the front, so there is a little bit of traffic noise. I am use to no real noise where I live.

Large room. Unlike many other motel/hotel rooms there were places to hang up your towels and face washers in the bathroom! And enough space to open your suitcases without cluttering up the floor! And a nice walk in wardrobe area! Great comfortable beds, many options of different sorts of pillows. Even though it is on the highway, the nature of the layout and build mean there is no road noise interfering with the night's sleep. Very short drive to the dining and city on the river.

We didn’t have breakfast at the motel.the position of the motel was close to the leagues club if you wanted a meal.and a cover ed car park.the room was very spacious.

The outside light shines over the top of the curtains and lights up the room all night,can’t these lights go off at at a certain time.

A good location with the leagues club and its facilities across the road. Easy to get to and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Good size room and good facilities.

Parking was a little tight for the modern large SUV style vehicles and the local crows a little noisy. Not much that the motel can do about the wildlife.

The Rockhampton Palms Motor Inn was very central to everything. The room was clean, comfortable and safe. During our stay the hot water system for our unit died, but the problem was promptly dealt with, the system was repaired within 8hrs, and the hot water was restored.

Whenever we travel through Rockhampton we always stay at Rockhampton Palm Motor Inn. The staff are friendly, always have a smile and are helpful. The property is very clean & comfortable and the rooms are of a good size. There’s easy access to food outlets.

I have stayed here a couple of times, it's a great place to spend the night. Very clean, comfortable beds, nice touch with the coffee machine, very nice rooms.

Only drawback is the lack of satellite TV channels, apart from 2 sports channels. It would definitely be a 10 if there were additional movie channels etc. It's higher priced accommodation, so a broad selection of satellite channels would definitely be nice.

I like the fact that there is a coffee machine ready for use & free milk & free water. Other motels don’t have free milk.

I didn’t like the fact that we stepped on sharp bindies on the carpet; lucky I had socks on when I stepped on a few of them; actually there was plenty.
