Wharf Boutique Apartments

We had a fantastic time! Lilian, our host, was incredibly friendly, responsive, and dedicated to making our stay as comfortable as possible. The location is superb, just a 2-minute walk to the beach with lifeguard patrols and a nearby café for beachside coffee. Surfers Paradise is a quick 3-minute drive or a pleasant 15-minute walk away. Our stay on the 8th floor offered a stunning sea view as a delightful bonus. The well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, and we only needed to buy ingredients. While this place may not be brand new, it is in excellent condition and exceptionally well-maintained. We're eagerly anticipating our return to this wonderful place. Kudos to Lilian and the staff for their kindness and hospitality. We wholeheartedly recommend this place – it's a 100% winner!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a two bedroom apartment however, when we arrived, we were given a one bedroom unit. After showing reception a copy of our booking confirmation, arrangements were immediately taken to transfer us to a newly renovated two bedroom apartment before we had unpacked.

The pool/BBQ area was still locked after the "open" time on the morning we decided to cook breakfast on the BBQ, and it was necessary to change our plans and cook our breakfast in the unit instead.

The 1-bedroom apartment was spacious, comfortable, clean, with air conditioning and multiple sockets. The bed was very soft and comfortable. The bathroom had 2 different access doors. Nice TV and sofa in living room. The kitchen had everything you could ask for: cutlery, dishes, glasses, oven, stove, microwave, counter. There was a terrace outside where you could hang out as well. The building included a swimming pool, tennis court, complimentary indoor car park, lift, and rubbish disposal chute and recycling. The receptionist was very lovely and professional, she always greeted us with a warm smile and kindly answered our questions. The property gave useful instructions ahead of time regarding key pick up/drop off. The check-in process was the quickest I've ever experienced, I was given an early check-in at no extra cost. And the location was fantastic: a short walking distance from Surfers Paradise and only 1 block away from the ocean, yet it was quiet and peaceful.

The opening hours of the reception desk were quite limited, even during the day.

Wonderful view better than the photo. Can hear the sound of waves from the balcony. I can literally lie on the master bedroom bed, look out of the balcony and call it a holiday. Very nice staff that helped when we ran out of toilet paper and cooking oil. Love the dishwasher, washing powder is also provided. Please note that the apartment only provides basic cooking stuffs and it was our responsibility to buy more if needed. But the staffs were nice enough to help above and beyond their responsibility.

The sofar bed in the living room was abit soft, but that was passable provided that the rests of the apartment was wonderful. There is no heater in the master bedroom when we came in June, but that can be solved by wearing an extra hoodie.

It was great to be able to get a self-contained unit within walking distance of shops at Surfers Paradise. We had a big storm during the evening and Lauren allowed our son to park his car undercover when he came for dinner. The unit was tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The crockery and cutlery were very clean. Dish washing detergent and washing powder was supplied.

Cleaning looks like it had been rushed as I found a Reebok sock under the bed and some nuts under the lounge. Floors could do with a good scrub to remove inground material and stains. Having said that it was clear they had been washed.

There were multiple things that we enjoyed about our stay here. 1. The staff - the receptionist Lauren was so warm and welcoming! We arrived 6 hours before check in, she stored our bags while we checked out the local cafe. All the staff were so kind and very accomodating. 2. Apartment - it exceeded expectations! We booked this last minute for a festival and weren't expecting much because the price was 'too good to be true'. It had everything we needed and plenty of space for 5 adults. It really felt like home. 3. Location - it was metres away from the beach which was amazing! It's not in the heart of Surfers so it isn't crowded, but you are close enough where you can walk or scooter in. 4. Price - we were expecting to pay an arm and a leg because of the location and it was school holidays but it was very affordable.

Great location if you don't mind a nice walk along the esplanade to the main shopping district. Massive 2 bedroom apartment with modern facilities and 2 bathrooms. Huge living area, would have been very comfortable staying here as a family of 4 for a week or more.

We arrived 2 hours after check-in started and reception was closed. Reception was also closed when we left late the next morning so we never saw a member of staff. Managed to get the keys from the lockbox okay but it was strange never seeing anyone that close to check-in time.

Central location and close to the beach. Building manager was such a welcoming lady, always had time for a chat and helped us with ways to get discounted theme park tickets. All staff were so friendly, we were made to feel so welcomed and at home. The bed was so comfortable had all the amenities we needed to cook and clean. Would highly recommend and would defiantly stay again

The facilities, grounds, apartment and even the car park, were all clean and tidy. The unit was equiped with the essentials to enjoy the stay and even cook at the unit. Access was simple, the pool was warm and clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again, nor recommend it as a central location to eateries, shopping, transport, beach and scenic drives. Loved every bit of it. Definitely value for money.

I couldn't have asked for more based on the price. Everything i needed was close handy and well up to a great standard.

The apartment was very spacious and clean. Before we got to the hotel, we thought that the rooms would be smaller than the pictures, but it turned out to be just as advertised. The kitchenette had enough utensils and crockery for us to cook our own breakfasts. The balconies had a decent view of the beach, albeit blocked somewhat by the buildings and a very tall tree. Brett and Rem are very hospitable and great hosts, providing us good service and advice when we spoke to them.

The roads next to the hotel are very noisy. They kept us awake so we had to keep the windows closed. One of the bedroom fan would occasionally start clicking as well. Generally, the location is a slight walk to nearby amenities, but it is close to a bus stop and the beach.
