Hotel X Brisbane Fortitude Vly, Vignette Collection - an IHG Hotel

The hotel is located quite central in Fortitude Valley. Around 70$ from Brisbane Airport. You can take the “Kittycat” boat for free to go to different places. It takes about 8 minutes walk from the hotel to reach the wharf. There are plenty of fancy restaurants nearby the river which have great view of the bridge. The hotel staffs were very friendly and helpful. The minibar was a great inspiration to try new things. We had 2 suite rooms to fit 4 adults with 2 children. Both rooms were different but they have balcony with great view and a living room with kitchenette. It’s much more spacey than usual hotel rooms that I’ve been.

We have to pay $40 per night for parking. And it was full when we were there and we have to take the valet service which makes the parking costs $60. That’s quite pricey!

Room was lovely had a luxurious bathroom, with amazing views. Great mini bar and room service from the 24hr French restaurant downstairs was exceptional after a long day of travelling. Staff were friendly and the room cleaning service that you order from the tablet was efficient and super fast each day.

For a luxurious experience we would have preferred doona covers on the bed instead of the triple sheeting esp when paying $1000+ night for the top suite as after our 3 night stay the sheets felt dirty and limp and not fluffy. Also some apps on the tv would have been good.

Nice room, good pool area (although lacking atmosphere), great location

No atmosphere by pool, no water to drink there when restaurant is closed Booked 2-3 months out to get a good price only to discover the day before was 25-30% cheaper for same room. When I brought this up there was nothing she could do apparently. We are platinum elite IHG members but only got a 12pm check out and an "upgrade" to same room but a floor higher up. But we did get a bottle of Prosecco as we were celebrating a birthday so that's nice! The bodylotion in bathroom was empty. Had just been staying at Calile for two nights and wanted to try something else out but would probably pay the higher price to get exceptional service and cool atmosphere there then coming back here.

The ergonomics of the hotel room do not live up to the stylish appearance portrayed in the photos. There are several areas that could be improved: - The material of the toilet seat cover feels uncomfortably cold to sit on. - The placement of the toilet paper holder is inconvenient, located behind you instead of in front. - The positioning of the bedside lamps, suspended from the ceiling, creates a risk of accidentally hitting your head when placing items on the bedside tables. The hotel is located near a lively area known for its vibrant nightlife and adult entertainment establishments.

Location was central to business district, shopping and dining. The bed and pillows were super comfy, and the dressing gowns and slippers meant less to pack. The rooftop bar has an amazing view of the city and it was nice to be able to sit and enjoy a cold beverage before heading out to dinner.

Paying for parking is expensive. This should be included in the cost at time of booking so there are no surprises on check out. Appreciated the bodywash and shampoo although there was no conditioner left in the pump bottle to wash my hair thoroughly. Small problem but didn't pack my own.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel X in Brisbane for my one year anniversary and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special and celebrated. They had even prepared a special surprise for us in our room, which was a lovely touch. The room itself was beautiful and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. The hotel itself was conveniently located, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. But what really made our stay stand out was the exceptional service we received. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and they made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. It was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The presentation was also beautiful, and the staff were always happy to refill our drinks or provide extra servings of our favorite dishes. Overall, our stay at Hotel X in Brisbane was truly memorable and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special and relaxing getaway. Thank you to the staff for making our anniversary such a special and unforgettable experience.

Be warned you're about to enter an information coma!! As soon as I made it to my hotel transfer at Domestic Airport (organised it with the hotel), my wonderful helpful Chauffeur (Sarah⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) had taken me to the hotel in a rather stylish Mercedes and i felt the VIP treatment. Absolutely LUSH! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Arrived at the hotel, given a super warm greeting, and then headed to my room. Made my way up to the rooftop bar, and it was buzzing with an Xmas Zing!! Walked down the road, maybe a 5-minute walk, and I'm now surrounded by Bars and Restaurants. Then another 50 metres pass the bars, you'll finally arrive at the train station Christmas day: As i was heading down to the restaurant for breakfast, I opened my door, and to my Surprise, there was a wonderful Christmas gift hanging on the outside door handle. I've spent the last 2 Christmases at the Park Royal in Parramatta Sydney, and NOT once did this ever happen. SHAME ON THEM!! My heart melted, and from that moment, I knew I was about to have the best solo Christmas ever⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! But then I had breakfast, OMG!!! GAME CHANGER⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Restaurant staff were on point with their service, and the chefs nailed my order. Things just kept getting better and better! Afterwards, I went back up to the rooftop to look at the swimming pool, and all I could say was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I could not bypass Christmas lunch as this was the main event. The staff were super professional⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Christmas Menu was mouthwatering, and the team work this day(staff)100% made the dream work for a solo traveller like me⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Special thank you to Manager : Aimee ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And the following team members (forgive me of this is wrong) Amtoni? That when I do eventually go away and stay elsewhere, I'm going to be SUPER DISAPPOINTED that I will never ever get this amazing experience ever again. So, it turns out Fortitude Valleys, my new holiday destination HOTEL X ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely beautiful! The pool area and rooftop bar are stunning. The hotel room was very clean and impressive. The multiple different features for light settings, automatic blinds and the ability to connect your phone to the TV made it feel very luxurious.

There was a DJ in the foyer, who was very loud (to the point where it was difficult to understand what my partner was saying). There was no normal parking available, only valet parking (costing $60 instead of the $40). There was a 15-20min wait on the valet parking to retrieve my car. Once I had gotten into my car the driver’s seat had be adjusted, and I had to adjust it back.

We had a room at the back of the property, so it was nice and quiet and there was no noise from any rooms above, below or either side. Perfect! The location is perfect for access to the Valley and to the River. Nice new facilities. Loved the shower. The bed was super comfortable. Especially loved the roof top bar and pool. Amazing views and atmosphere.

It was quite expensive and the rooms were a little small for the money we paid. The worst part, you had to pay an additional $40 a day for parking! That is way too expensive. Should be more like $20.

Property is in a great location. 24 hour reception was great considering we arrived at 1.00am. Bathrooms were well equipped and very trendy. Automatic opening of the blinds on entry were very flash. Blinds were blockout to allow a sleep in. Roof top bar was amazing. Visitor car park for friends to join us for drinks was great. Pillow choice is a great idea. Reception delivered pillows when called.

Bed was a bit hard for my liking. Maybe bed hardness choice could be great. Room was a bit small. We specifically wanted a balcony however there was some rain and the balcony held a pooling of water so was unusable even after the rain stopped. Ordered pillows from the ipad which were not delivered.
