The Edgewater Bed & Breakfast

We were the only young couple on our stay but it was perfect. Massive room, bed and en suite. Great amenities - everything available in the kitchen you need for a quick bite, air con in the room and common area, Chromecast on the room TV, wireless phone charging lamps either side of the bed. Hosts were friendly and up for a chat yet respected guests' privacy. The space was very clean, and the hosts showed genuine care down to the last detail - the little goodies and information in the room upon arrival was a nice touch. Would recommend for anyone!

Everything exceeded expectations apart from the fact I thought the backyard opened right out to the water but you have to walk a couple of hundred metres down the road for beach access. Better beaches are also a short drive away. I must say this is no fault, as for the price I did not expect to find a place with beach access from the yard. Location was still great and the morning breakfast on the balcony still provides a gorgeous view over the water.

The beds were lovely. King-sized mattress with a variety of pillows of different shapes and firmness. The breakfast was a generous continental breakfast. Espresso coffee, teas, chocolate, orange juice, cereals, toast, muffins, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, berries and yoghurt. But above all the hosts, Graham and Christine were just lovely. Nothing was a bother and their experience ensured a relaxed enjoyable stay.

The weather wasn't great during our stay but our hosts were full of suggestions of places to go and recommendations for evening meals.

Graham and Christine were wonderful hosts. The venue was well maintained, comfortable and clean. Providing a great getaway accommodation at a reasonable price. Our breakfast was delicious and they catered for our dietary requirements. Location was great, peaceful and we were delighted. the hosts were very warm and welcoming, the breakfast was excellent. enjoyed the hospitality, rooms, food and facilities. The food was first class, top choices in terms of tea (T2). The rooms were clean including the washroom, dining area was spacious and breakfast catered to our needs. The hosts are amazing and that makes a whole lot of difference in your stay.

hot breakfast for a rainy day would have been ideal. Entertainment section needs to broaden, smart TV which has Netflix or Amazon.

The hosts were amazing, very attentive and answered any questions we had. The property exceeded our expectations, very clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had everything we needed. Full range of tea, coffee, (nespresso machine) juice and herbal teas.

We don’t have any negatives.

The whole place was very clean (I didn't have my usual carpet allergies which was so awesome). The hosts were friendly and accomodating. The room was spacious and modern. I also enjoyed the breakfast, there were a good amount of selection. It was close enough to hyams and huskisson beaches. The location is also close to other small beaches and it was quiet. It's the perfect accomodation for couples.👍

The property has a brilliant location with amazing views of the basin off the balcony. Graham and Christine went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their hospitality cannot be faulted. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the property was well situated with access to high quality cafes and restaurants.

We could fault nothing about this property.

Clean, modern and comfortable. Parking easy. Kangaroos nearby! Facilities were great, breakfast lovely. Best accommodation we had during our trip. Both hosts were very friendly and made us feel at home.

Nowhere nearby for food in the evening.

Absolutely amazing stay! exceptional tranquility, the rooms were amazing, the amenities were perfect for our stay and the treatment from the owners was absolutely brilliant! felt like family in their home and can’t wait to come back and stay.

Stayed here for the Valentine’s weekend. The BnB was so nice and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom were nice and clean. Bed was comfy and the place was situated in a quiet suburban area next to the beautiful basin. I loved how there was a television (and DVD player) with enough channels to entertain us with. The view was lovely from the terrace as well - surrounded by nature. Christine and Graham were both great. They were accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was beautiful as well. I loved how the breakfast was served and it was nice to see the amount of thought and effort that was put in. Simple, but just right. It was also lovely how they had DVD’s to use, as well as tea/hot chocolate/coffee and biscuits to have. There was also parking available, which was convenient. Overall, a lovely, peaceful, accommodating and clean place to stay when visiting Jervis Bay. As a registered nurse working in the covid ward, I appreciate how the place was covid friendly. Would definitely come back again!
