NH Buenos Aires Tango

The location, just beside Teatro Colón. Ok, it's on the busiest central avenue of BA, but everything is within walking distance. Lovely balcony to the junior suites on the 9th floor. Nice large bathroom with both tub and a large shower.

Lobby is quite oldish, as well as the rooms, but the bed is very nice, large and comfy. Would need to carry out some restoration work. The breakfast room is poorly furnished and the breakfast itself is not worthing much. Wifi a bit slow and sometimes stopping.

Good location within walking distance to Obelisk, Teatro Colon and some points of interest. Good size and well appointed room with great view of obelisk.

The AC in our room was super noisy and we reported it to the front desk the next morning. They told us that they were going to fix it. When we returned in the late afternoon, they informed us that AC issue was reported and fixed. Later that night we discovered that it had not been repaired. It appears that the AC was never repaired or that they did not verified a proper repair. Good news was that they gave us even a bigger room where the AC was reported properly.

Breakfast was good n service was excellent

That The air conditioning and heater are centrally control so it was kind of difficult to find a comfortable temperature in the room

Location. Location. Location! Great view over Av. 9 de Julio and the Obelisk, and walking distance to many touristic sites. Also above Tango Porteno, one of BAs most well known tango venues. The staff is friendly and supportive (reception, breakfast).

The room is small. Finishing of the room was mediocre (floor tiles with gaps, shower door not closing, awkward position of the toilet). The TV had 40 channels, but not a single one in English. Breakfast is poor.

I was only staying one night and did not have time to do much exploring so I picked this hotel because of its iconic location in center of city. Breakfast was excellent and there was a huge variety. Air con was superb. A great location with the amazing historic Colon Opera Theatre next door and the Obelisk only 100m away

Having a fifth floor room with a view overlooking a 20 lane highway was bound to be a bit noisy, however the traffic noise was a steady drone which became less intrusive with time. The rest of the hotel was very quiet. Even with a high end hotel such as this there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. There was a fridge with bottle water. Despite their Green policy there was no water cooler to refill a water bottle without asking the helpful staff to go into the kitchen.

We had superior room with a view. Room was better than expected, bed was excellent. Everywhere was clean, breakfast was very nice. Helpful staff.

There is supposed to be a lobby bar, but better to say that there isn't. Maybe you could find a random beer there. Other drinks are very limited, if there is any

The location is really excellent. Steps away from the Theatro Colon which is a "must-visit" and near a great range of restaurants, shops, etc. Very convenient. Hotel comfortable, breakfast reasonable.

Lack of small amenities. No tissues available in room, no face cloths...the little things you assume will be there. Security seemed a little lax. The lobby is semi-public and there are notices telling you to watch your belongings. And there is no security system for the lift to access rooms, so anyone could go anywhere. We had booked a "suite" and although the room was fairly large there was only one comfortable chair and one work chair and I'd hardly call the room a suite. Even in the most loose definition of "suite".

not one to right reviews but had to do for this hotel NH TANGO is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in anywhere in the world. in terms of price, location, cleanliness, size of room the staff ect…the views from the balcony are stunning and all the must see places in BA are not far away from the hotel & every one knows how to get you back even if you don’t speak a world of Spanish!!😂 overlooking the obelisk it’s right in the heart of the Buenos Aires with bus, metro, taxi right outside the hotel and the price for the room with balcony is a snip (famous chain hotels are opposite with 3 times the asking price) A big shout out to Nicholas on the front desk who after 14 hour flight from europe and arriving at 4 in the morning was so helpful & advising on us everything from the currency situation to restaurants to buying adapters to generally everything many thanks again guys we will be back!

nothing.. everything about the property.

The location, the balcony, and the view of the obelisk from our room were mesmerizing, day and night. It was so much more than we had expected. Also, the art in the public rooms, breakfast and a simple dinner in the dining room, and cocktails in the lobby/sitting room both enjoyable and delicious. Every request we had -- from advice on taxis and walking tours to booking a tango show and a tour to the Tigre Delta -- was handled with efficiency and knowledge.

Nothing could have made it better.

Very nice and understanding staff. We had a rough day, missing our flight and being stranded at the airport. They arranged a very early checkin and free breakfast, which was extremely pleasant at that moment. They were very helpful with everything and made our day a bit better again.
