474 Buenos Aires Hotel

Location is good. It's at the center and historical area of the city so most of the tourist spots are walking distance or just 10-20 mins by cab. The breakfast is a surprise because from its appearance as a small hotel (the lobby is not eye-catching) we did not expect the dining area to be a beautiful space with several choices of the food. The Staffs are friendly and helpful.

1. The shower is a bit hard to have the temperature being fixed at not-too-hot range.... always too hot for us. 2. We're offered early check-in (which we're very grateful) but just after we checked-in and we're still in our room, the housekeeping maid suddenly opened our room with her card. Although after we complained to her and the concierge we got apology from the concierge saying it's a mistake, this incident is still making us feel 'unsafe' for the first night we stayed there.

Could hear movements of elevator in the room. When I went to pay it was very confusing as I had been quoted price in dollars and Uruguayan pesos . When I wanted to use my Uruguayan Visa card to pay, the employee tried to explain that if I paid cash (having changed dollars to Argentine pesos in the black market) it would work out cheaper than using the card. Also, the person I shared with had paid her share a few hours earlier and her bill was less than mine because in the interim the Argentine peso had been devalued!!! All this was very annoying and hard to understand.

The bed was super comfortable and the shower was great. The room was quite spacious and was clean and the room service team were very efficient. We used the Cambio agent at the 'Drug Store' nearby on the corner opposite HSBC and got a great rate. Walking distance to many nice sights - especially the rivers edge with its bars and restaurants around Women's Bridge with a nice vibe in the sunshine.

The breakfast was a bit disappointing so although we paid for breakfast, we only went once as it's quite basic and we didn't like the coffee and although there was a coffee machine in the bedroom, there wasn't coffee whilst many hotels have reintroduced coffee stations since covid. We were happy that we stayed in this area for a few days and stayed in Palermo too as there are some nice restaurants and bars there too so recommend splitting your trip.

to begin with, excellent staff. polite and well-mannered. room was very nice. perfect if you are a smoker. the bancony has a great city view. nothing to complain

this goes to you booking. i was charged an extra 20% above the rate for paying in cash. however as far as i understand tax was already included. and nobody informed to me beforehand about an extra. i do not know whose fault is it. but I didnt think it was logical. and I hate lack of logic.

We had requested a quiet room and it was amazing that the room was actually so quiet considering our central location in Buenos Aires. The hotel was located near several tourist sites and conveniences including a small grocery store only 2 blocks away. Clara at the front desk was so helpful in providing informationa and booking a taxi to the cruise port for us. Our room was quiet, spacious, comfortable and extremely clean. We would definitely stay there again.

I liked breakfast, the excellent location and the Cleanliness in all the Hotel. It was a very confortable 3 nights in BS AS.

I didn't like the elevator due to the noices. It was also very difficult to keep the room temperature stable.

Great location. Wonderful value. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms and common spaces were clean and welcoming.

The air-conditioner was working really hard to chill the room (it was in the upper 90s and humid. when you left the room and took your key card out of the switch the it shut off all power so the room was hot when e got back.

Location perfect for walking everywhere and buses. Breakfast good.

Coffe could have been stronger. There was an extra charge for the coffe in the room even though it said there was a coffee machine provided. No water provided free of charge.

Great location in the heart of the Microcentro, you can easily walk to many of the sights. The room was nice and comfortable, the staff was also nice and very polite (like everyone else in Argentina), the wifi worked well.

The breakfast was a bit simple, at least during the week, and they didn't always refill things that ran out.

Excellent location, staff very kind, good breakfast. My suite was big, comfortable and quite.

A bit out of date. Needs some renovation to give it a fresh look, especially in the common areas.
