Bamboo Village Beach Resort & Spa

The resort was so, so beautiful it was like going to heaven. The spa was incredible and luxurious, I had two treatments and both were amazing (but the water lily massage changed my life!). The breakfast buffet was nice. The staff, and I cannot stress this enough, were all incredibly kind, helpful and sincere. I was very impressed by the customer service.

Unfortunately, the room I was in had a slight sewage smell the whole time. They also hosted a meditation event on the last two days that took place right in front of my balcony and woke me up at 7am with loud speakers. I must say as well that unfortunately at times it seemed that the resort was trying to get as much money from me as possible - for example a shuttle from the train station was quoted for about 1 million VND for a 20 minute ride that was 200,000 on grab.

I love their services, foods, location, decorations, and staffs. Staffs are friendly and helpful . The environment bring a peaceful feeling to visitors, it is a perfect place for relaxing and staying closely with nature. I love morning buffets, a lot of good foods. That is my favorite. Nice location to watch sunrise on the beach

Only thing I didn't like when being asked to rate for their services so many times during I stay, that made me feel annoyed and obligated a bit. I love their place so much I will come back if possible. In my opinion, reviews should be done voluntarily. I hope it should be changed that make the place more perfect

Take into account that food proportions are huge. And be aware the ocean can be very rough. The hotel tries to deal with this by putting up sand barriers

Hands down best accomodation in Vietnam for us!! The gardens are beautiful, the staff very attentive.

When we pulled in they are renovating the front entrance and we were concerned it was going to be like a construction site everywhere. Don’t be alarmed it’s fine. They are actually proactive with keeping it looking lovely.

Amazing green territory, quite a refreshing retreat during hot days. Our room was quiet and cleaned spotless. Breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety of local and foreign foods. They have a well maintained own beach with easy sea access. Onsite massage services were very good, highly recommended.

Sometimes it was hard to find free lounge chairs around the pool areas.

Breakfast staff did not let us get the kids bread which was on the table (which they would throw anyway)… Kids wanted to eat it at the beach or give some to the fish. They only spoke to me as I was the only Asian person in our group but did not tell anything to other foreigner guests as they took some food plates to their rooms! On the last days they even posted someone in front of our table to look constantly what we were eating, it was really unpleasant!

One of the best resorts I’ve stayed in!! The grounds of the hotel are amazing. The gardens are so peaceful. There are multiple little ponds with fish, lots of different plant species which are clearly labelled, a lovely pool surrounded by palm trees and the beach is perfect for sunbathing with a breeze or kite surfing in the sea. It’s alot of fun just riding the waves to cool off. The beach was clean, well taken care of and private for the hotel as part of a long stretch which is great for walking along in the morning after breakfast. The breakfast buffet was some of the best food I had in Vietnam. Such variety of local dishes, and traditional breakfast food. The staff were great and I even extended my trip by one night because I didn’t want to leave.

Loved our stay here! Our room was really clean and spacious. The bathroom had a separate shower with good water pressure and drainage. New bottled water provided daily. Staff were super lovely and polite. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. Lounge chairs by the beach are great - plenty of them. The actual resort is beautiful and the gardens are very peaceful - a great place to escape the Vietnam traffic / constant scooter noise!

Drinks / meals at the restaurant were a little expensive. We didn’t use the pools because the lounge chairs were always taken.

Absolutely stunning resort. We took the beachfront villa and was super happy with our decision. The whole hotel has a great ambience. Waking up to a beautiful garden right at our yard, and just a little beyond that is the sea. Barely 5 steps to get to the beach! The huts by the beach were also a great addition! Didn’t have to sit on the sand plus it was easy to order snacks/drinks by the beach. The trees/plants all around made moving around the resort feel very private and quiet. Definitely appreciate the privacy. Traveling with a baby is not easy so the privacy was well appreciated! Service was 10/10. Checked in at 7pm and the whole process took us 10-15mins. Bell boy was really helpful and friendly as well! Sadly I did not manage to get his name. Real fantastic service from the team here at the resort. Best thing is, they come by to clean the room TWICE a day. Not quite sure if it’s because it’s a beachside resort and things get sandy? But great, I’ve never been to a resort that does housekeeping twice a day. I was impressed. Lastly, resort located near plenty of great restaurants/beach bars that is just a 5/10mins ride away. Even Phan Thiet is just 15mins car ride away.

The only thing that I didn’t quite like was that the villa’s toilet didn’t smell too great. The room would be perfect if you could just get that sorted.
