Comfort Inn Evanston I-80

The Inn was easy to find from I-80, it was within walking distance of several restaurants, and it had decent breakfast offerings.

The bath tub drain plug did not work and the sink was in the room rather than the bathroom. There was no wall plug in the bathroom— we like to put a night light in the bathroom so we don’t have to turn on the bright overhead light and noisy bathroom fan if we have to get up to use the bathroom during the night. If properties are going to stop putting wall plugs in the bathrooms perhaps they can consider adding a dim night light that is not tied to the fan.

The sheets were the softest I believe I have ever experienced at a Hotel. What a "wow" factor after a very long day of travelling. Just where can you purchase a set of those for home use? The yogurt to go was simply the best to take on the road, quite fun and much appreciated a few hours down the road when you need a snack. I had a unique request as part of our visit and your team member, Orquidea went above and beyond to fulfill that request! I was looking where to stop by with my whole life in one car to have a chance of it not being stolen, so I choose to stay away from the big city. In the morning the car was still there!!! With all the stuff! So I’m betond happy. Oh yeah, and they let me check out one hr later so I can swim in the pool to unload my back after 14 hrs driving which was awesome as well. Best of luck to this business, good stuff and good crowd, had a nice conversation over breakfast with other patrons. 12/10.

breakfast was goog, would have liked not having bacon 2 mornings in a row, sausage gravey was good all in all not bad.

people put above us had children and they ran and jumped until well after 10pm made it very hard to sleep, bottom floor I would not recommend.

Very comfortable and well situated for freeway travel. Staff was super nice. Room was well appointed and was very clean. Parking was safe. Even though the hotel was full of bikers (on their way to Sturgis?) and hot rodders (on their way to Reno?) it was really a very quiet and well behaved crowd. Glad they accepted pets. Best hotel I've stayed at in Evanston.

The neighborhood is a bit odd but not sketchy or dangerous (the hotel shares a giant parking lot with a sports wagering bar and an adult bookstore--we didn't have a problem with this, but some folks might feel a bit weird about it--both places looked pretty deserted). The breakfast is limited, but I wasn't expecting much beyond coffee.

This place had very comfortable beds, very nice rooms, super clean rooms, great hot/cold breakfast!

The reservations were all mixed up upon arrival. The hotel clerk did help to fix so I could stay there at same price. However it did take approx 45 min to fix via my own personal online Booking.com log in, phone calls, etc. It was frustrating for tired travelers. But ended well.

The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast. Back to normal breakfast, with self-serve, waffles, coffee, pastries, yogurt, etc.

location is by the freeway and just in front of 2 bars and a sex-novelty store. We didn't hear anything crazy going on and the hotel was quiet. It's just a weird feeling bringing grandkids to a hotel with all that close by.

Front desk lady gave us excellent info on outdoor walking trails in nearby Bear River Park

Treadmill in gym area was not functioning. Front desk lady was kind to try to get it going. She said maintenance staff would be there on Monday to fix it.

Room was clean, made up well, bright. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Outside lights on backside parking lot were out, quite dark for most of the lot. Breakfast supplies were not replenished in a timely manner, most everything was gone by the time I got there at 8:30 am; help showed up as I was leaving. Carpet in the room needs replacing; several old cigarette burn marks, but I don't sleep on the floor, so it was not a big deal Security catch on door was in bad shape, needs fixing or replacing.

The property was easy to get to just off of the interstate and easy to find. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. Their computer was down when we arrived but they knew we had a reservation so all was good. They had to open our room for us because they could not give us door keys because of the computer. We went to eat and all was ok when we came back. The breakfast the next morning was very nice with a good variety of items. I would stay there again. A good value and very clean.
