Ramada by Wyndham Waupaca

I was a little hesitant to stay here after some of the reviews I read, but it was pet friendly and right off the highway very close to restaurants and shops. Pulling up, the outside of the building looked a little run down, but after going inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is under new management, has new, friendly staff, and are doing a great job with updates and cleanliness. The room was nice! It was a good size, clean and set up well. It had a large fridge, TV and microwave. The bar was open until midnight; with reasonably priced drinks, large TV's, a pool table, dart board, juke box and gambling machines. Although the waterslides and hot tub were closed for repairs, the pool was ADULTS ONLY from 11:30 pm-1:30 am! There is a small arcade for the kids. The hot breakfast was very good and served until 10 am. I don't know how long ago those bad reviews were written, but I had a great experience and would definitely stay there again.

This is a nice hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is a huge indoor swimming pool with kiddie pool and water slide, and the children guests were making full use of it. In fact, people who live in the town take water aerobics there and also work out in the hotel's fitness room. We received free drinks tickets for each day, which was a nice bonus for the end of the day. We did not make use of breakfast due to our schedule, but the checkout clerk was on hand for us to check out very early in the morning and put together a little bag for us to take away for our long drive that day. Nice place!

It's a little loud, as it's right next to the highway.

The property is close to a major highway and access is easy. It has a pool, fitness center, and bar. Breakfast is available each morning. The shower was hot and had good water pressure.

Stairwells to access upper floors are in need of cleaning and a coat of paint. Stairwell lighting is adequate but could use some updating.

Easy to get to. Right off the hwy exit. Fitness center is a REAL fitness center, not just one room with a machine. Weights, machines, Yoga room, tanning bed.

Pool was open, but hottub was closed. Waterslide closed. Splashpad closed. Tanning bed only available during day.

We felt safe, excellent workout room, clean pool, the room in general is very clean....thank you! However, the carpet made feet "black". The hairdryer is broken. You may want to fix the dripping tub faucet....note on bed suggests to conserve water not have sheets washed every day, but yet the faucet drips consistantly. The landscaping is horrendous!!!....first thing we noticed! Picture on line shows better kept!! Thankfully the inside was much better. Bathroom sink faucet has barely any pressure.

Pet friendly but cost 20.00 for pet. Nice pool, great breakfast.

Outdoor landscape desperate need of help, could have been a little bit cleaner, room kinda stunk like ammonia, toilet paper roll was broken, didn't have good water pressure in shower

Clean rooms and comfortable for a night's stay.

Furnishings are a bit outdated, but still functionable. AC kept it cool but was a bit noisy and couldn't regulate the desired temp. Need to get the hot tub and slides working. Would be nice to have longue/bar available also. Breakfast is on the light side but what was there, was good.

Clean, spacious rooms for a great price. Night staff was super friendly and nice.

Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful (especially night staff!) daytime staff was not very helpful and not friendly. Slides & sauna were shut down. Hot tub was out of order. No biggie on either of those since slides weren’t advertised and stuff breaks sometimes. We were informed at check in that the pool shuts down for a class for an hour in the am which we found to be an inconvenience.

Ramada was amazing, booking.com sucks and taxs me on top of tax so I paid 400 dollars instead of 375 like booking.com said. Never using booking.com again lost a customer

Anytime coffee, breakfast variety, exercise room, clean bed

The carpet is wore out. The breakfast did not open til 7am. 6am would have been better. The pillows were lumpy the hot tub was not working.
