The Finch is an amazing modern and updated Inn. I have so many good things to say about this Inn. Great location, just around the corner is main street with restaurants, bars ans shops, also Safeway is across the stret.. They hqve a lot of free parking space.. Reception area is nice and cool too, with free tea and coffee, play area, sitting area, fireplace in front, and some The Finch branded items to buy. The room was specious, clean and modern. Wifi is great. Love the bed, lamps and all the lightingin the room, the fridge is so cool, bathroom very nice, good shower, barn door, hair dryer,.. toiletries smell amazing and you can even purchase them in the Inn. So many cool details. Really really like it and I hope we will come back again.

Very clean. Very comfortable. Location was accessible. Decor modern. Lobby very welcoming and accommodating. Staff was exceptional and always ready to help with any needs. Shower and amenities were good. Overall room was very well-thought out.

There was a little window that let in a LOT of light by the sink area that illuminated the entire room all night. This needs to be remedied. We used stacked pillows to help block out the illumination. (Also, toilet paper was not up to the standard/quality of everything else - it's the little things that make a big difference!)

Fun, attractive ambience - the decor is playful and original. The location is excellent - very walkable, and close to downtown Walla Walla. The outdoor areas are attractive, with comfortable seating and pleasant landscaping. Beds are very comfortable, and the shower was awesome! Front desk staff were attentive and welcoming - they even offered wine to taste!

I'm accustomed to having a microwave and coffee maker in my hotel rooms - The Finch had neither. Coffee and tea are available in the lobby. No breakfast options.

loved the location- easy walking to downtown and close to tasting rooms. The coffee offered in the lobby was delicious. The king bed was VERY comfortable, and the clean sheets were silky. The room was very clean. I liked the zen-like outdoor area for reading and hanging out.

I would have liked a coffee maker and a microwave in the room. There were no bedside tables, just a very small metal shelf attached to the bedframe. "Breakfast" was a simple carb/sugar bomb of mini-muffins. Better to say "No Breakfast" than to call highly processed mini-miffins a breakfast. We had to schlep our luggage in from the street- minimal on-site parking, so we parked on the street. (There was a parking lot across the street, but street parking was closer.)

Cute little downtown location, the room decor was very charming. Modernized bathroom, I lived the shower and provided soaps. They had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on at a hotel, and the local wine theming gave the whole experience a lot of personality. they offered me a local wine to sip on at check-in. Would absolutely recommend to any winos out there.

Breakfast options are a little sparse; it's not a continental breakfast - mini muffins or oatmeal are pretty much it. That said, the muffins are really great, and they have a lot of quality tea and milk options, so it was perfect for me anyway!

Very nice hotel... close to Main street Walla Walla with a fair amount of restaurants. To give an honest review I will say this: Beautiful VIEW OF farmland from Seattle to Walla Walla via Yakima is pretty cool. Once in Walla Walla there were lots of wineries, which we did not participate in. This is a College Town, and we were iterested in looking at Whitman College, for our grand daughter. It was lovely. Enjoyed an all American celebration of the 4th of July in Pioneer Park, and ate at some nice restaurants. One I would like to point out was CLARETTE'S breakfast or lunch, An enjoyable ride from Seattle, because after passing Ellensburg, and heading south through Yakima, the beauty of the farms began to show that our Farmers are alive and well. On the return trip to home we chose the other route north to I-90 to VANTAGE, showed the same farming, but in my opinion is not recommended, unless you want to see more farmland and more rural roads. There is not any stopping places fo "EATS" until you get to Ellensburg, which is what we did. We went to the "Early Bird Cafe" that closes at 2pm. A greate place for a breakfast bowl or grilled cheese sandwich.

We really don't have any dislikes.

The Finch is a great little place to stay. Everyone was very friendly. I even had a very pleasant conversation with one of the cleaning people. She started the conversation and asked us how our stay was going and if we needed anything. The front desk person was very helpful and made several suggestions that we did and really enjoyed. The location is awesome, right next to the main street action. The bed was super comfortable. Loved having the fridge. Just a great little place. I also have to compliment the cleaning staff. The room was perfectly clean and I did watch them for a bit cleaning a room down the hall and they were very detailed. Cleaning all of the flat surfaces and taking great care. Awesome. It was nice having coffee available in the lobby and the design of the place is nice. Enjoyed the covered parking. It was too warm for the fireplace the days we were there but I can see where that would be nice in the fall. Maybe you guys should offer a rewards program?

It would be nice to have some sort of breakfast option at the price we were paying. The price of the room is a little bit high for what you get, but still we were very happy and would come again for sure. Very minor thing but the water container was empty when we went to get a drink in the lobby. On our second day we did have a bit of trouble finding a parking spot. Luckily one person was leaving when we pulled up so we grabbed that slot but I have to wonder if they truly have enough parking for all of their guests if they are full. Overall the pros far outweigh these few little cons.

The bed was sooo comfortable. It was 112 when were arrived and it was so refreshing to go into the cool air conditioned room. All of the amenities in the room were great. There was a cheerful funky little vibe in the room decor and the orientation manual in the room. Great place, conveniently located within walking distance to the main downtown restaurants and wine tasting rooms.

There was coffee and a grab and go breakfast available which we didn't know about until we had already purchased food off property. It wasn't much and could have included some additional items. The front desk staff also told us that they usually offer a wine tasting upon check in but they told us it was too early to bring the wine out even though it was 2pm...so we never got to do the tasting. We didn't really care about but we did feel cheated out of something they said they would give us.

They were more accomodating than any other hotel I've used. Welcomed us with glass of local wine, easily changed our rooms to accomodate our dog and bikes, and had a very great lobby with many appliances we could use. I left my kindle reader there, and they found it and sent it back, with graciouness. The hotel itself was an excellent physical building remodeled and eco friendly. Great Place
