Hyatt Place Seattle Downtown

Location is excellent. Walking distance to the Seattle Center, restaurants and Walgreens. A very convenient place for tour companies to pick up. Plenty of seats in the lobby where you can relax before heading up to your room. We arrived about 2 hours early and they accommodated us without any problems. Our room was spacious and clean. The dining area is always open which we used a few times to have our take out dinners. Staff is nice.

Breakfast is good but on the 4th day, it became boring ( not exciting if you're staying long). Sometimes, you hear noises from the stCyreet in your room (but it didn't bother us that much). If I go there again, I will try to request a room with a view of Space Needle.

The hotel was very nice, it was Booking.com that I had an issue with. The website had rooms for over $400.00 and when I got there Booking.com website had the same room for $200.00. When I called Booking.com to get the room rate lowered to match their own website, they put me on hold for over 30 minutes. They said they were going to call hotel, I stood by the reception desk and they never called. They stated it was not same add because of some cancellation clause. The room was the same room being advertised, it was a clause that was different and that is false advertising. I will never use Booking.com again.

Booking.com should have been better, there is no phone number listed on the website. Catherine A. was not easy to deal with, she kept putting me on hold and not helping with the pricing situation. I will never use Booking.com again and I will make sure that everyone I know will never use this site again.

Friendly staff. Clean nice room with sofa. Small bathroom, sink outside the bathroom. Comfy bed. Always space to improve cleanliness. Great location - close to space needle and the park, walking distance to the downtown (~10-15mins). Slightly disappointed with a breakfast (they must have staff issues -there was a long line waiting for eggs and bacon for like 5-10mins). Although, breakfast went down everywhere after covid unfortunately. Busy weekend(Memorial Day weekend) therefore busy breakfast area with not enough place to sit down and eat. Overall would recommend to stay.

breakfast was great, awesome location, parking is free and in a structure so it keeps your car safe. check in was pleasant, and a nice spacious room. bed was totally comfortable, lots of attractions within walking distance.

elevators are a little slow, or used too frequently and cannot keep up with traffic. just be patient, not a deal breaker. asked for late check out but the front desk did not communicate this to the cleaning crew, and they kept waking us up in the morning and asking us to leave early. not professional and left a sour taste in our mouths.

We thought a number of factors: - Location; downtown and walking distance to the Space Needle Tower and multiple museums. Walking distance to The Pike Market by the Waterfront; - Modern facilities with pool and gym; - Provision of all day seating in the eating area after the complimentary breakfast. This included use of the microwave; - Business Centre was free and printing was free; - Prompt response by the hotel staff on some issues we raise - excellent customer service.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Very polite and accommodating to guests. The hotel location was good. A little further from the waterfront than I thought. The breakfast was good. It had lots of options.

The pool was freezing! They ran out of towels too.

Staff was friendly, facilities were clean and presentable all for a great value. Breakfast was included which is always a plus

Room was beside a gas station where cars came in late playing loud music, other than that everything was fantastic

The location was very good, close to the space needle. When checking-in, although earlier, we asked for a room with a view to the space needle, that we could see from the front-door, and they manage to arrange everything! Just perfect!

The breakfast room (we went at different times) was a bit crowded and the some items end up quickly, like bananas or cakes (no refill) or eggs. The pace the staff refilling, tend to be a bit slow, creating big queues, specially for eggs.

Location, location, location. 5 minute walk to the Space Needle and Monorail; Monorail will take you to the train, which will take you any where you want to go. I parked my car and never used again until I left. My room had a sectional couch, bar with fridge, and a bedroom (comfy bed). The staff is exceptional and friendly. Breakfast included and is one of the most decent breakfasts I’ve seen traveling. Parking on site although the spaces are tight.

Don’t buy anything on property at store; the prices are ridiculous. I spent $16.00 on 2 bottles of beer. it’s the only reason I wouldn’t give this hotel a 10.

It is very close to the Space Needle, the room is very comfortable and the Hyatt team was just amazing. We had a great time walking around and enjoying Seattle, and Hyatt Place is at a very strategic location to wander around and rest a little bit. I would really like to thank Brenda for the warm welcoming and the precise directions. She was very helpful, kind and attentive. The whole Hyatt staff is awesome, but Brenda is outstanding on helping guests and managing all her tasks.
