We loved the old world elegance of the hotel. It was a bit away from the hustle and bustle which was just perfect. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and very comfortable: we really loved the beds!!! We had to laugh when we discovered that the hotel appears in the 2nd series of the video game The Last of Us (a photo shoot with an “infected” was going on for the clue). We had a great dinner in their restaurant Stella which is set up for outside dining in the summer.

Nothing to dislike.

everything ! it was clean beautiful historical the amazing court yard to relax in !! The staff was amazing the food was amazing the live band at night in the bar was great and the best part I felt that my car was safe the entire time done the valet goes way beyond parking your car and I also felt that we were safe. we were celebrating my birthday and we had the most amazing dinner downstairs in the hotel restaurant. The food and service was top notch and our waitress didn’t even know that we were celebrating my birthday but she made us a romantic place by the window to seat us and she pulled the velvet curtains then dimmed the lights to make it a romantic private dining experience. can’t say enough about this place! we will definitely visit again. thank you hotel Sorrento !!

Hotel Sorrento is a beautiful property that has been refurbished to its original elegance being built in 1909. It is just the sort of hotel I enjoy. if you enjoy lovely architecture and old world charm this is a nice hotel for you. I would like to recognize Braden and Keirnan especially at the front desk as we had our most interactions with them. But everyone at the desk was friendly, professional and hospitable.

I have no complaints, the staff was attentive, informative and the hotel very nice.

We like the atmosphere of a classic boutique hotel. Very comfortable room and good shower. Walking distance to the light rail. A few convenient stores and a great bakery nearby. Beautiful cathedral a block away.

No breakfast facility on site. Hotel restaurant opens at 11 AM, and brunch on the weekend available at 10 AM. Dining room and bar close early (8 pm), as are the restaurants nearby (some as early as 7 pm). In-room coffee and cups were not replenished one morning.

It's a charming older hotel with plenty of ambiance and a nice restaurant

The elevator was broken and our room was on the fourth floor. The valet met us at our car and explained the situation and offered to help us carry our bags upstairs. His name was Brady and he was a very nice young man. We didn't mind the walk, but it would have been a nice gesture if the hotel offered some sort of concession for the inconvenience like free parking or extra water for the room. The parking was $45. The toilet was also fussy and I had to fix it to keep it from running, but the bathroom was lovely otherwise.

I like the Old World atmosphere and that the hotel is memorable. The rooms are appointed like no other in this price point, with luxurious touches from the elegant furniture to the marble bathrooms. I appreciate the Nespresso coffee machine not a boring Keurig. And the Tarocco lotion and shampoo made me order some for home. The octagonal bar room off the lobby is a great place to relax... we played a board game there for hours! There are special touches like the floor carpet in the elevator is changed daily to reflect the day of the week. This hotel makes you feel pampered and special. It is an older building, so the a/c unit is a little noisy. I visited when it was cold out, and my room had a freestanding heater that heated the suite very well.

I was sad that the bar room was not open for service the days I was there, opening on weekends only. One was still able to get a drink at the restaurant and take it in there, but it's such a great space I'd like to see it used daily.

Your staff is amazing ❤️ I’d like to acknowledge Dylan, Braden and Triston went above and beyond any expectations. Being from Hawaii they exuded the Spirit of Aloha 🌺 A Hui Hou (until we meet again) Aloha Miss Greg 🍍🌹❤️

Seeing more of Triston that’s all😘 maybe coffee or a lite continental breakfast in the morning by the fire pit 🥰also some visitation from your guests from way back long ago if you know what I mean 😁

I love the wonderful staff! Stella restaurant was wonderful, and I had a blast in the Fireside Room listening to jazz with my family. I really appreciate how accommodating the hotel was with allowing me to check in early.

The elevator was down for a portion of our stay, but the staff called ahead to inform me. I decided to keep my reservation. The staff made every effort to make up for the inconvenience…thus I didn’t take any points off for my review.

My girlfriend who was getting married couldn't have a traditional bachelorette party because of Covid so we decided to do a staycation girls night at The Sorrento. We live on Capitol Hill but have always wanted to stay there. We got upgraded to a suite....so BEAUTIFUL...beyond our expectations. When we checked in they provided 4 bottles of wine for us to enjoy during our stay with a lovely hand written note. We felt so pampered and the staff were the best. All the touches made our visit PERFECT. I want to go back...like everyday. The space is beautiful, the beds so comfy enjoyed the Nescafe machine for lovely latte's. Although the bar was closed when we got back from dinner we enjoyed some wine in the fireplace room before bed. I will tell everyone to stay here!!!!!

The bar we thought was open till after 9 but we get it...it's different times. I will have some beignets another time.

We had an exceptional dinner and our waitress Vanessa was outstanding and made my husbands birthday dinner truly special. Ben, in the bar also was terrific and brought us each a glass of champagne to celebrate.

It would have been nice to have breakfast there but since it was Sunday, only the buffet was available and not til 10:30.
