Basecamp Puyallup

The location was convenient, on a main roadway with many restaurants, coffee stops, and other businesses close by. The room was refreshed and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The front desk staff as well as housekeepers were friendly and helpful.

The property is on a busy road and near a hospital so there was some road and siren noise. But with the tv and/or heating, cooling or the vent on, the noise softened and didn't bother us. We will return.

Almost everything!

Everything was clean with the exception of the small ironing board that looks dirty. Since I was performing in the 3 days of Oktoberfest I had to iron my shirts but was worry that my shirts might not be clean when done. I like to emphasize that the room was clean and enjoyed my stay there. John

Recent remodel was done tastefully

The housecleaning staff walked in to our room not knowing we had checked in already...so she accidentally walked in. And first thing we saw was mouse trap under sink

Close to the fair grounds and great price. great staff and clean location

room smelled a little of smoke but it could’ve been from outside.. door did not seal well and there was a lot of noise that came thru subsequently.

I feel that I paid for a very nice hotel room, but stayed in a remodeled Motel 6. the room had been painted recently, tub/shower appeared new, but the tile in the bathroom (new) was not all the way to the tub nor was it caulked there, so it will be rotting soon. It did have both a microwave and a fridge, and it was clean. We walked 3 flights of stairs to our exterior entrance door. The heater/AC worked fine but appeared very old and some of the plastic venting on it was broken. it was rather noisy just from cars on the nearby highway. The bed was fine. It was all good, and they are trying to make it nice.

It was a nice room.

There was only 1 plastic cup for 3 people. Given the flatness of the pillows, extra would have been nice.

The room was a good size, and water pressure was good in the shower. Bed was comfortable.

The hardwood floors, or faux hardwood floors get swept. Not mopped. I walked around barefoot just from the shower to get ready and my feet were black. Make sure you bring a pair of slides or anything to avoid this. Also, my door had been well, kicked in at aome point before my stay. The door frame was broken. And the rack to hang your clothes from was falling out of the wall. Take pics of anything wrong in your room. And lastly, I was told I'd be being refunded a small amount after this was brought to my attention but that never happened.
