SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Wytheville

Great staff and location. The breakfast and coffee were delicious. The dining area was a nice area for sitting. And the pool looked very inviting. These things made for a nice stay, and the pros outweighed the cons.

It probably could use a little more detail and t l c in the cleaning department, but we are not 'germaphobes', and we carry Clorox wipes with us when we travel. ( I clean for a living, so I notice things most people don't) Some of the furniture, including the beds, have probably seen better days. But we did get good nights sleep. And for that, we were grateful. Also, there are no USB charging docks, so take plug-in. This is not a big deal. Just a heads up. The one thing I noticed in all hotels. Is that they only have a night stand In the center and not on both sides of the bed. I always have to pull up a chair to put my water, phone, and whatever else on.

Really liked the room with the hot tub inside the room. Me an husband has found us a new get away room that’s not far from our home that we will be back to quit often. We will be back to stay atleast once a month to have some alone time.

Loved everything about the place ! It’s not far from my home an it’s only 3 minutes from where my husband works. He works the night shift so driving an hour home is a lot on him some days so us staying here really helped him a lot.

The young woman at the desk was pleasant, gave us lists of restaurants and recommended one that delivered. We were pleased that as an older couple, we could park outside near the door to our room. It was the quietest place we ever stayed, The bed was great, enjoyed having access to hot tea in our room a plus. We prefer all Non Smoking facilities.

We didn't like the eggs very much, but that was not a great loss. We did wonder why with an ash tray outside was not used. We suspect that an employee regularly smokes outside and drops the mess on the ground. It was very obvious.

Allowed us to check in very early as we were exhausted from driving home after the holidays. Beds were very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious too!

Vending machines were ancient and empty but everything else was better then great.

Although the accommodations seemed a little dated, our room was clean and the staff was very attentive to our needs. We enjoyed being able to travel with our dog. The bed was comfortable, food was delivered to our room from a nearby Italian restaurant and the TV reception was good with a lot of channels. Our room also had a microwave and a refrigerator. Our bathroom even had HOT water. Breakfast offered a bit of a surprise. We expected to get a sack with to-go items but upon visiting the breakfast area there was actually a small breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, toast juice, coffee, milk, cereal, fresh fruit and Danish pastries.

The internet Wi-Fi reception was weak and not secure in spite of the claim that a password was needed. Breakfast was OK but could have been better. The scrambled eggs didn't seem done.

The hotel has been remodeled with new carpet furniture Etc. The young man at the front desk was very polite and accommodating. The hot breakfast was awesome it had sausage and eggs, biscuits and gravy, even a pancake machine! The hotel was also extremely quiet. I will stay here every time I go to Wytheville. The stay was perfect

Location was good. Glad it wasn’t jammed in with the grouping of other hotels down the street but rather ticked away on its own. Maybe insignificant to others but little details I appreciate, a fan in the bathroom (although it didn’t operate separately) and a little bathroom nightlight so full-on blazing white lights aren’t necessary for the middle of the night bathroom visits.

Could’ve been cleaner.

We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay for a few hours sleep and a little break on our trip. This was perfect. It was clean and felt safe. The breakfast tasted great and had lots of options.

Food wasn’t the hottest on the breakfast bar but microwave was available to fix that. The showers need some updating.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We liked that the motel was far enough from the interstate that we did not hear the traffic. The breakfast room was clean, the coffee was good and hot. Because of COVID there wasn't the selection there might have been in the past, but there was juice, fresh fruit, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches to warm up in the microwave. The rates were reasonable and we would recommend it and stay there again. It was much nicer than a more expensive motel that we stayed in that didn't offer any amenities including changing our towels or making the bed (they said COVID was the problem)

We were coming back from Myrtle Beach and needed a break from traveling. There were no vacancies at any hotel within 3 hours we were told. Luckily we made a reservation beforehand. The amount of people staying overwhelmed there small breakfast area, but it worked out. The room was perfect and the bed was amazingly comfortable.
