Homewood Suites By Hilton Reston, VA

This is a newly built hotel with super clean, well apportioned, and comfortable rooms. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, Omar was my fave. It is quiet and safely located in a business/office park with obvious daytime security. Just a short drive to the Metro, Reston Center, and other local attractions. Our King suite room was spacious and well equipped, including a kitchen in which we prepared many of our meals. The included breakfast varied in it’s offerings on hot items with plenty of other options. Homewood Suites is family friendly and evidently relaxing for business travelers as well. The outdoor courtyard seating, gas fireplace, and chill music piped outside on weekends is inviting. Elevators are locked unless you have a room card-key and COVID protocols are clearly evident; mask wearing staff and frequent cleaning of common areas. I spent a week here with my family and never heard a peep from any nearby rooms. Currently there is no restaurant on site or room service but lots of options within a few minutes drive. The small store/pantry area near the front desk offers beverages, snacks, HBA items, etc. After a 12 hour drive, I was appreciative to obtain a chilled bottle of Pinot Grigio at check-in. We were able to cook meals on the 2 burner stove and kept our restaurant leftovers in the full sized fridge. Nearby grocery stores include Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and Giant. Park at the conveniently accessible Metro station and take the train to DC, just a 30-40 minute ride to Foggy Bottom (few blocks walk to Lincoln Memorial and National Mall) or other stops elsewhere in Washington. If you want to visit Reston or the Greater DC area without actually staying in the middle of it all, I highly recommend Homewood Suites by Hilton.

We visited in the sweltering dog days of August. The only thing I found lacking is there is no pool at the hotel. Fortunately, the Water Mine Swimming Hole is close-by in Reston and easy to find.

Clean & peaceful environment. Omar, the front desk manager, was amazing! His vibrant and welcoming personality shined bright for my family and I. The check in process went smoothly. The breakfast was good, especially the biscuits w/sausage gravy. The gentleman with the glasses, that worked the breakfast area, was very polite and approachable with conversation. He was also awesome! The room was excellent and comfy. Our view was of the Google building which was rather pretty at night when it was lit up.

I didn't have anything to dislike as the staff were exceptional with their positive hospitality.

-The check in process was a quick and seamless process. -The room itself was beautiful with a comfortable bed, plenty of space and all the amenities were top notch. The bathroom was also spacious and spotlessly clean with fluffy towels and high-quality toiletries. - The breakfast spread was especially delicious and above average in taste than what you typically get from hotel breakfast buffet. Overall I was very impressed with my stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. We can't wait to go back!

-The bed and pillows were a little too soft for my liking, but that's just a matter of personal preference

The room was spacious, clean, and modern. Enjoyed the breakfast. Selection changed everyday, though there was always eggs. Adding a waffle maker would be awesome. The staff were attentive to refilling the food and beverages. The gym was better than your average business hotel.

It's in kind of a strange location. It's in a business park and like much of Reston, without a car you are facing a long walk to food or public transportation. Signs posted on the property say that food delivery charges are waived to the hotel.

Location is near to all what we needed, quite area, hotel is clean, smells good, my kids liked the sofa bed ,the shower is big and nice, kitched is awesome ,the dish washer was set to work automaticlly,we have stayed before in downtown at Dupont Circle, where the area was noisy and the breakfast was very poor, but at Homewood suites the breakfast still very good and many varaietes avialabe and I liked the coffee much.The fire pit outside the hotel during night gathering was beautiful and the hotel is well secuired.

This hotel is in a class all of it's own. The room is spotless,spacious and extremely peaceful. The beds you just sink into-and are really soft and comfortable! The staff are brilliant and see to your every need-nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel itself is quite new-just a couple of years old. The bedrooms and breakfast area as well as reception still look brand new! The evening social,which is held every Wednesday,was very good too. They served good quality snacks, beer, and wine. We will certainly be staying at this hotel again when we visit Washington DC. It is only about a mile,just a brisk walk,to Wiehle-Reston Metro station. We found this really quick and easy to use in order to visit the Washington Museums and Art Galleries.

Nothing-everything was perfect for our stay!

The breakfast was good; there were a lot of choices. The staff was very quick to replenish the food. A staff member asked us if there was anything else we needed before before they closed the breakfast area off. The room was spacious and very clean. I was particularly fond of the "Welcome" screen; it was a nice touch. We were able to watch Netflix on the TV. There was a full sized fridge as well. The staff were super friendly and helpful. It was a very good experience; a home away from home.

I don't think there was anything that needed improvement.

The room we stayed in was very spacious and comfortably accommodated our family of four, including parents and two children. We were also impressed with how clean the room was and the kitchen with all the necessary appliances was a great addition to our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the fireplace in the hotel was definitely a highlight for us and added to the cozy atmosphere.

The cleanliness of the facility and room, the amenities in the rooms, the checking in /out process.

On the first morning of my stay, the breakfast staff seemed either under staffed or overwhelmed. Had to wait for clean plates, had to wait for food and tables were not cleaned. This was probably a blip in time. The next day was fine.

The hotel seems fairly new. It’s in a Great location close to many restaurants and has a walkable area that is great if coming with kids or pets. Great staff, super clean room and common areas, comfortable bedding, very secure hotel as well. Oh and FREE parking! As soon as you walk into the hotel you feel welcomed by the staff, I had Omar be my host and he was amazing! (Thanks for being an awesome host and keeping in touch with all our needs, specially with my pets needs!). The room was clean and they have a welcome screen with your name, weather and so on. The TV is a smart TV with access to Netflix and many other services if you need to binge to your favorite shows. The breakfast didn’t have the greatest options available, it was fair but although limited it was good quality. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that travels with their pets!!!

The weather was really crazy and I wish there was better weather to explore more around the area. I know this isn’t fault of the hotel and it seems like changing weather is a common thing in Virginia. Other than that I don’t have nothing negative to say about my experience at the hotel.
