The location is terrific in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. King Street links to all sorts of transport options, so I was able to take the Metro to DC, the bus to my meetings in National Harbor, and the Amtrak train to Richmond. The apartment has a well-appointed kitchen and beautiful French doors overlooking an internal courtyard - very comfortable and efficient and lovely in its simplicity. There are grocery stores and many, many restaurants and take-out sources nearby.

The suite is up a short flight of stairs at the end of a long hall - it could be a barrier for some. There was a periodic, repetitive mechanical noise outside the suite, but this quickly became routine background and did not interfere with sleep.

Great room (we upgraded to room with sofa as did not want to just sit/lie on bed). Fabulous location. Great facilities. Very cosy. One of us was ill for couple of days so great to have somewhere nice to hang out and chill.

Had an issue with door codes as internal worked but external didn't. Rang the number and it was resolved very quickly. I would not have liked to arrive really late at night to have to deal with that but automated systems can be glitchy. Managed to get the TV working on Chromecast so watched Netflix. Not a big deal but sometimes nice to just put the news on without having to wrestle with tech.

Everything! This was the best experience I have ever had in a stay! The room was so large and comfortable! There were several comfort itens that made it even greater! Just to list some -> large cooktop with all utensils and pans, good amount of glasses, large dish washing machine, bathroom with heated floor, large bed with the perfect stiffness, a balcony, lots of hangers, open ceiling, central heating and AC. The location is great, on a really popular and life street of Alexandria.

Lack of washing machines in the building and the sound of a heater in our window during the night, but it did not affect my experience at all. It's just great to point.

Fantastic little studio right in the heart of King Street with all of the bars and restaurants and a 15-minute walk to the waterfront. Great transport system with those processes and free shuttle to the local metro station. Spotlessly clean very comfortable and modern apartment ent and and when I online reported the coffee machine is not working it was replaced almost immediately. Staff on the online chat very helpful and solved any issue immediately Lee

Would have been nice to know that there was somebody on site as as having to keep doing an online chat when I needed to know something was a bit time-consuming. The only thing I would say is if you are over sensitive to noise then NH Alexandria old town is probably not for you anyway as as the planes do fly in and out quite closely to the airport, they stop at night but do start again n-term yes in the morning, it didn't bother me too much. There is no TV v-com uh the large monitor in the wall is just that that, you are able to hook up to your own devices to watch Netflix for example but don't expect to be able to watch any television

Great location - right in the middle of King St. Walking distance to everything. Outstanding value. Modern, spacious rooms in a historic building.

How is a great room in a great location so cheap? If you haven't stayed at a Sonder before, it's more like Airbnb than a hotel. No staff, parking lot, breakfast, fitness room, etc. Download the Sonder app before you check in, you'll need it to check in and out. To watch TV, bring a device that can cast to their Chromecast TV (their WiFi is free)

In the heart of Old Town Alexandria, you can’t get a much better location in this area. I love the Sonder concept and appreciate the ease of the entire process. Clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.

There was no shared workspace/lounge inside the building, just the external courtyard.

The King St. location is situated perfectly at the heart of Old Town Alexandria where it is walking distance to a lot of places! The convenience is everything. The little kitchenette in each unit is a plus for guests who would like to save on eating out. I feel like I'm in an Ikea showroom it is decorated and furnished nicely with so many modern touches, and the shower is perfection, the water pressure is on point. I love that you don't need a key fob to enter the premises as they give you a key code instead. I don't have to worry about losing or misplacing the key (most especially if they have to charge $200 if you lose one). I would absolutely stay here again if I'm ever back in town. Don't EVER forget to finish the booking process until you receive a confirmation and have the key code!!!! I made a stupid mistake and it was a stressful situation to be in. Thankfully their staff is amazing that they were able to assist. All in all, my stay was great,

The room was beautiful. The dishes & stove were a nice extra touch. It was clean. The bed was so comfortable.

The hallway smelled like sour carpet. No tub just a shower

The room was very nice, comfortable beds and a well equiped kitchen. Perfect location in the middle of restaurants, shops and close to metro.

There is no staff in the building to help out with questions which is not very helpful. To use the tv we had to log into cromecast from our own phone and it was hard to find any channel.

Great location in Old Town, very close to restaurants, etc. About a 10 minute walk to the metro rail station for access to the rest of Washington.

Glad I was alone; rooms are quite small and likely would have been a bit of a squeeze. But who cares, get out and check out Old Town and Washington.
