Sun & Ski Inn and Suites

This is our second time here after a great stay last time as well. We love the extra activities at the site. We took part in mini golf, bowling, swimming, and the hot tub. The staff were also helpful in getting us set up with the fire pit one night. The rooms are spacious and it is a good location to fairly quickly get to places by car.

The rooms could use a bit of updating. The stairs to the loft were pretty precarious, but I have older kids so it worked out fine. There was a room next to us with very barky dogs, but we only heard them if we were sitting outside.

stayed in loft suite- very spacious for family of 5. beds and pillows were comfortable. great location. loved having direct access (sliding glass door) to beautiful yard with river views. mini golf and bowling on site was so fun. food/drinks at bowling were really good; able to eat and bowl at same time. staff was great. very kind and helpful. kids liked the pool. would definitely stay here again.

breakfast boxes were ok. we ended up getting breakfast sandwiches next door.

Room was a good size and had everything you need. Bed was super comfy and large with lovely clean bedding. Shower was good and seating area out back was great. Breakfast was filling and good.

We arrived later in the evening and the chap on the desk wasn't very welcoming, he barely spoke, just handed key and that was it! Not a great first impression. I expected him to chat and inform a little about the place and how things worked but nothing.Tv in room had a fault with the sound and was very small in comparison to the rest of the accommodation we booked during our 3 week stay in New England, needed replacing.

Loved everything about this place. Rooms were a nice size with full fridge/freezer, patio that overlooks yard, with lawn chairs and property is on a river. Love when pet friendly hotels do not charge extra fee and include pet bags! Breakfast was wonderful with 2 choices with vegetarian options. Conveniently located across from the recreation pass, only 4 miles to Stoh ski resort or into town. Summer and winter options, with bowling alley and restaurant on site, or mini golf on the property, they have thought of everything! Fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at check in was such a nice touch.

Nothing, I love this place.

Not a bad location, short ride down the street to the center. Had a bowling ally on site, which was fun. Heated pool look very clean, although I didn't use it.

Boxed to-go breakfast, 3 choices, none of them vegan. No dairy-free milk options for morning coffee. Receptionist was a bit frosty. A smile goes a long way. Mini golf would have been about $35 for 2 of us. Normally not bad, but we're spending over $200 a night. They couldn't toss in a game? I also would request a room not above the bowling alley in the main building. You hear it until it closes.

The condo was great for my family. Fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, fluffy pillows, extra throw blankets, and patio set made it an amazing experience as I was able to save some money as we didn't need to eat out all meals. The pool, jacuzzi and gym area were clean and well maintained.

check out time at 10a instead of the usual 11a. I had 4 kids and was a bit challenging walking out the door and loading the car; front desk was calling me by 10:14a.

Great location with plenty of nearby entertainment and activities. There is an onsite mini golf and bowling alley (check hours - I stayed on nights the alley was not open). The room itself has plenty of space and all you need. They have box breakfast options, but if you prefer a meal there are a couple nearby options. It gets very quiet later in the evenings, added bonus.

My only real complaint is the bed. It just didn't offer proper support for me, and I couldn't sleep more than 5 hours on it. It's on the softer side, I need at least a firm personally. Just like any other hotel in the area, the price is high for what you get.

Staff were all very nice and very helpful. Breakfast boxes were fun and convenient, room was great size and very clean, the grounds of the property were lovely, we had our own little deck with Adirondack chairs right off the back of our room. The pool and hot tub were great too! The Stowebowl was probably one of the nicest bowling alley's I've ever visited and the food there was good too! Fun and delicious specialty cocktails. They also offer free bike rentals to guests!

There wasn't much we didn't like, I suppose the price could have been a little less considering it's still the off season in Stowe, but Sun and Ski was actually much less than other resorts in the area and they offered a lot more.

the rooms need to be updated our bathroom had an opening window people could see inside if walking out back and the curtains had holes in them the mattress are new and great. but the our room needed updated. i had my reservations for months my sister did a walk in for the same room and it was $100 cheaper a night, which was frustrating for me that’s why I use Booking.com for a good value.

It is a very nice hotel. We spent one night during the foliage period. The surroundings were unbelievably beautiful. I can however imaging that it would be a convenient place to stay during skiing. Our room was a good size room, clean and quiet. You park the car by the door to the room. We have not used any facilities in the hotel. The breakfast was given in a box and frankly it did not look good, so we could not eat it.

The boxed breakfast was no good. It feels expensive for a hotel room.
