We were driving across from East to West and needed somewhere to spend the night. We picked Parowan simply as it was well-placed in terms of that much bigger journey. No disrespect to Parowan, but we didn't pick it on account of anything particularly appealing about the place itself. Given all of that, this hotel and indeed Parowan did what we needed it to. The hotel is pretty basic, but not in a way that is a problem. It's located about a mile or so off the interstate, but it was very easy to find. Parowan is small (3,000 or so residents) so no one will have trouble finding the place. I went for a run round the town in the morning, and it was actually really nice to watch a place waking up. Definitely a very different feel to that which you'd get in bigger places. The room was certainly clean and it ticked all the relevant boxes. The Thai food was very good indeed, and we would really recommend that people try that out. We ate our evening meal there and it was a welcome breath of fresh air after too many burgers! Value-for-money wise this hotel really do exactly the job we wanted it to.
It felt a little odd that the reception/breakfast area didn't open until 9am. To be clear, that didn't affect us all (we had no real need to use either), but if you want a quick bite before hitting the road then this isn't the place to go for. Mind you, once you drive out and get going the US is hardly lacking in terms of diners/other places to grab that morning coffee/snack.

The room had two queen beds, big enough for myself, my twin and his wife. The parking lot was big enough to accommodate all the cars when the motel filled up from people attending a family reunion. My sister-in-law kept the air conditioning running, so the room felt cool to me. The motel was very helpful when I extended my stay.
The singing toilet.

Very pleasant surprise, a nice throw back to the hotels and motels I remember before the cookie cutter chains started dominating the market. Large comfortable room, very clean, with personal touches. All interactions with staff were excellent. Spacious lobby and breakfast room. Breakfast, though cold, was good.
Lighting in room wasn’t very bright.

Brian Head shuttle was able to pick me up from the parking lot. Super nice owner who also runs a Chinese restaurant on site. The dining area gets quite popular with the locals in the evening. Sit-down breakfast was simple but tasty (waffles, toast, sausage, potatoes, eggs, fruit). There's also a little grocer across the street.
Footsteps from upstairs guests were a bit noisy. Inconvenient power sockets by the desk -- I had to ask the reception for an extension cord. Watch out for falling snow from the rooftop after a storm!

This is a great location in a quaint nostalgic town with a lot of old buildings. Close to national reef Park. Hiking, biking, climbing. Roomwas really large, room for several bikes and gear. Late check-in was OK. Pool, meetings in small restaurant, probably 30 people, and lodge like loung holds 15. Close to restaurants, fridge and microwavew/nice country views. Ice machine in restaurant so closed after 9m
No ice after office closed at 9

it was quiet. The room had some unique and fun decor. The restaurant was good.
when we booked the room we were promised free breakfast but because Brian Head had purchased the hotel after the booking they refused to honor our booking details. also, there were no comfortable chairs in our room to sit in. thank goodness we’d brought our lawn chairs with us! the cleaning staff had left a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door.

We always stay here when we go up to visit family.. Its always clean and the staff is friendly. my One & Only concern.. they don't ice in front of the shaded motel doors during the winter.. The frozen ice was SO slick and scary.. Not if your young I guess, Ha! But yeah it's my one and only complaint.. it's a great place to stay and they have a great breakfast! Thank you for always accommodating us.

The two ladies in the front desk are super friendly to talk to. Helped me and my wife out to cancel our last day since our vehicle needed repair and it was over an 1hr away, so we had to book another place to stay closer. Just want to thank them both! Your neighbor up north

For this price range, having a hotel room with the size, cleanliness, comfort that is offered by Mountain View Lodge is very very rare. Also the location, it is not on the highway so is quiet, but is still close to highway and other scenic attractions.
If the external appearance is updated with a coat of paint and parking lot spruced up, then this would be an even more awesome place.

We have stayed here a few years ago. The property exceeded the expectations we had from 2 years ago. They have maintained it well.
The office doesn't open until 9 if you want the free coffee. This was minor for us. We ended up checking out by leaving the door keys in the room before 9am.
