The price per night was ridiculously expensive for a Hampton Inn. The rate was equivalent to a nicer brand hotel chain. The staff we not overly friendly when I asked why the rate was so high -- basically a take it or leave it attitude. At checkout the young woman just shrugged her shoulders when i asked why the rate did not match my booking rate. She later called and made sure i knew she had "gone out of her way' to check the rate directly with Booking.com (previously told me to call them myself). While appreciated, the tone was unnecessary.

The parking lot is on a hill and opens onto a very busy street which makes it very difficult to make a left turn. No signs indicating the location of the hotel. We drove through the entire town not knowing if we had missed the entrance until we were a block away.

They did not tell us that we needed to request daily service and when we did, did not receive it but notice this is changing in the industry. Also, noticed they were trying new staff so staffing for housekeeping is probably a challenge in a small town.

The staff was amazing. Front desk manager and staff wonderful! Housekeepers were helpful and professional. The breakfast staff was great too. Terrific breakfast, clean hotel, super nice staff! We liked the cookies and coffee in the lobby too. Great location close to the arches and white water rafting.

The hotel was new, modern and very nice. The location was great as it was close to downtown,
All pillows were too soft for me. I had to use 2 but I find this at almost all Hampton Inns. They need more firm pillows that don’t flatten so much once you lay on them.

romote control failed to work. clerk at front desk was not aware of replacement batteries, morning manager had large box of batteries located in the front desk. she was very helpful with billing issues

the breakfast was fantastic. the bed the most comfortable i've ever slept on. moab has some of the most beautiful scenery, and its a friendly place. a fantastic trip!

I have been to Moab before and knew the location was good. I wanted to add a day on to my reservation and they were able to do that. So happy to have the cookies return to the Hampton. A sign of normality.
