Best Western Plus North Odessa Inn & Suites

Desk clerk at midnight, very thorough and welcoming. Impressive. Also, a general comment: the quality and condition of your poperty so far exceeds our experiences of the past 2 to 3 years at Wyndham (QI mostly), Choice and others that we are in shock. At your property's price point we have come to expect slum conditions.

Hooks for clothes in the bathroom. When traveling with family the guest may want to dress (and bathe) in the bathroom, yet there are no provisions for hanging clean clothes in the bathroom. Major oversight, though no uncommon. You're so close to perfection at the property please raise it to 100%.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful and curteous. We enjoyed our breakfast. The bed was comfortable, though we always bring our pillows. The pillows were not great, as in most other places.

The hotel advertises a swimming pool, yet after inquiry I found out that it wasn't open. Previous guests have mentioned that the pool hasn't been open for a while now. The refrigerator in the room wasn't really cold. The lighting in the room was quite awful, but normal for the hotels these days. You can't really read with those lights.

Breakfast was good, sometimes slow waiting on things coming out but the staff was working hard. Loved all of the options to fit a variety of palettes. All of the staff were friendly and attentive. The option to get more linens and toiletries was available and easy to do. We also loved that they had a laundry room available for guests. The sweet clerk, Deandrea even went out of her way to take a picture of our entire family before we departed.

We didn’t sleep very well on the beds, they were too firm for our taste and we woke up with back pain both mornings. Upon initial inspection of the room our microwave was dirty which was a bit of a turn off.

Room was very clean, once figured out the pillows (it was like they were 1/4 th of a full pillow) you have to fluff them out to get a whole pillow apparently they shove them in the cases like that, we slept comfortable. The best part was shower pressure and the citrus soap and products you use there are the best we ever smelt or used !

The pillows being shoved into a tiny pillow case and looking like a 1/4th pillow. Plus the ramps to get on and off highway to get to your hotel are horrible. That is not on you though.

The staff was very friendly, helpful, professional, and accommodating. Maria is an asset to the breakfast because it’s like homemade. Requests were made and fulfilled. The property location was close to restaurants and far enough from I20 to feel safe on the premises at different times of the day and evening. It is well maintained and clean.

Perhaps a discount for an unexpected longer than expected stay.

This was our first time staying in a Best Western and we only tried it because we had read really great reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and the service. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Quiet.

Breakfast was hit and miss, great one day, nothing the next and I went down the same time every day. A/C did not work until the last night. Unit on the roof was bad. Yes, we told the front desk about this issue.

Nice location, very quiet. The breakfast is very good. Staff were very nice.

The temperature light on the AC unit is very bright. The pool was not open yet which was disappointing as having the pool was a major reason I chose this property. It has been over 90 degrees in Odessa so not sure why the delay on opening the pool.

The location for us was great, everything within 5 minutes. Because it’s a new building everything is nice and up to date. The property is clean, the rooms were perfect, clean sheets, great pillows like always with BW hotels, no hairs anywhere, plenty of towels. The breakfast in the morning was great the times 6-9am, they had scrambled eggs, hash browns, sausage links, waffles, cereal, juices, fruit, granola bars overall a great selection. Plus they had a very friendly lady serving the food which was even better. We took our plates upstairs and they gave us styrofoam plates with lids and utensils which was great! Almost forgot to mention the convenient store they have in the main lobby where you can find any last minutes snacks from sodas, chips, to ice cream.

Breakfast was great! The lady preparing breakfast was friendly, and you could see the pride she took in her job! Pool was nice! Room was comfortable! Overall great value!
