La Quinta by Wyndham Mt. Pleasant

We loved our room. I was happy that I chose the suite because it was spacious enough for a family of 5. The front desk staff and the housekeeping staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good and there were a variety of options to choose from. My daughter loved that the waffles were Texas shaped. Parking was free and conveniently located by some restaurants and the interstate.

The pool was closed for renovations and we were not told this before our stay. My daughter was very disappointed. Other than this, that is my only complaint.

Customer Service were very friendly and kind. Indoor poor is a great value, we really enjoyed it. The breakfast had a good variety of food and the food was great.

1. Our guest room was occupied by 4 people, we only had 2 towels in the room, and everyday we had to request 2 additional towels. 2. TV Remote control did not work, and frontdesk promise Monday someone was going to fix it and it did not happened. 3. There was only 1 waffle maker, and a big line of people, which made the wait time longer. 4. I liked the idea of pet friendly hotel, but once we stepped on dog pee in the elevator. 😭 5. There were no baggage cart available neither during our check-inn or check-out. 6. The refrigerator did not worked properly, the freezer did not freeze, and the fridge did nor cooled enough. 7. When I tried to use the iron, I filled it with water to iron my clothes, and when I pressed the spray botton brown stuff came out, it was so dirty. ,😔😔😔

Thank you for the veteran parking spot. I loved the flexible/adjustable shower head in 208. This was an accessible room, so I'm guessing they don't all have one, but my wife and I both commented to each other that we liked it.

The adjoining room door in Room 208 did not properly latch shut, a potential personal safety issue. The room was very hot upon our 9pm arrival. I had the A/C set to 64 degrees overnight, and the room never got real cool. Only one elevator of the two was working.

The breakfast location was very attractive and coffee was readily available. Apparently served many travelers early as fruit and pastries were not available after 8 am. Kitchen service personnel could have been a bit more engaged at the counter and cleaning up of the area. A bit disappointed that food not available for all travelers needing service after 8 am.

The check-in desk was overwhelmed when we arrived at 5:30 pm. Had to wait for someone to check people in as the check-in person had been called away to fix a TV.. Many travelers had to wait for about 20 minutes in lobby for service. Amhan was so very helpful in getting us checked in and making sure we were taken care of the evening . Need a desk assistant desperately,

Nice people and the lady at check-in was really sweet. She even came up to show me how to do the ac and tv. Very nice employees and enjoyed my stay

The gym was.....not the best, or even close. It also was impossible to call my room for my partner when I was needing to reach him.. I called three times and tried to ring the room. I never got the actual front desk to even answer. I was hung up on the 1st time. 2nd time I was told to hold while they transferred to front,then disconnected. 3rd time I was transferred but the front never answered. I had to drive to hotel while waiting for front. When I walked in the lady was not even at the front. She was at breakfast area. I had been on hold about ten minutes by then she never even knew

The beds were very comfortable with lots of pillows. The room was nice and big. Most of the staff were very friendly with an exception of one who wasn't rude just not very friendly. The breakfast was good.

The housekeeping wasn't fantastic. There were spiderwebs on light fixtures and I saw the same trash on the floor both days we were there. The elevators were loud and noisy and needs to be repaired.

They did fix the issues from the last time we stayed and the breakfast is great.

Pool got cold and stayed cold after the first day we used it and the hot tub jets didn't work. Really wish they would give discounts for people staying more than a few days.

Breakfast was only so, so. Waffle maker was out of mix and couldn't find anyone to refill it. Gravy was tasteless (bland).

Better insulation in rooms so the hall noise is not so loud. You could hear every conversation. Also, charging a $50 fee just in case you do something to the room. They never mentioned they were charging that when checking in, it also didn't show on the receipt. It was refunded within 24 hours.

Breakfast was okay, the room was beautiful.

The pool was shut down, without any prior notification. No sign at the front desk or on the website, that indicated the closure. Over all it was a good experience. Our room was upgraded to a lovely suite. The only other issue that really needs to be addressed is the need for more towels, blankets and pillows

Location was great and price was great. The room was huge and spacey. Morning staff was great at check out.

The night check in staff was rude and acted like I was a bother. she even said if something was wrong with the room I'm out of luck. Then stated she was there all night. There was a huge spider in the bathroom and some stains on the comforter.
