Some electrical sockets had cracks and when I connected hair dryer it kept coming lose. That is pretty dangerous

Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable, plenty of covers, (I get cold in most hotels and have to ask for more blankets). Plenty of breakfast items to choose from. Pleasant staff.
The ice machine didn't work on our floor and we were already in our night close so didn't want to go down stairs.. not much in the way of snacks and my husband and I both struggle with blood sugar drops and sometimes need something sweet to hold us till breakfast.

We have visited on multiple occasions. It has been an overall good experience. Nice breakfast.
There was a scarcity concern. Asked for extra bath linen and had to turn in the dirty linen to get the exact pieces back. I showered more than once a day. That felt weird. Also had to ask for toilet tissue and it felt like an inconvenience.

The only thing was not knowing that you HAD to request service for the room. This was not explained at check in. Came back to the room and noticed it had not been serviced then being told we had request it. Also, the AC unit was leaking onto the carpet. I had let the front desk know of this at checkout.

I had a subsequent stay with this one including bf 5 additional nights and had to get a my key recoded every single night except the last night. Every night I got to my room it did not work. I never went anywhere that it would’ve gotten deactivated so that was a little aggravating.

Great location in a nice little town. Staff was helpful recommending a great restaurant.
The hotel needs a facelift...curtains torn from top to bottom and lamp shades cracked. Ice machine broken. Staff had to be called to the front on two occasions-both stayed in the back office until called.

Went to room 213 as was written on key card, the card unlocked the door, however someone was already sleeping in the room. Went back to desk and was given room 216, card was re-keyed and this time room was empty and ready.

The rooms were clean and friendly staff. The service was excellent! I left one of my AirPods at the hotel. The front desk was awesome and mailed it to my home after finding it!

Nice place, enjoyed my stay. Found a large used candy wrapper in drawer :-( . Makes me wonder about how clean the room actually was. Policy is for everyone to wear a mask, but several staff do not. Don't make it a policy if you can't follow it yourself.

What we liked : The location, the area, the town of Kilgore. The staff cheerful, helpful, efficient. The lobby was modern, tastefully decorated , and welcoming... very clean and neat. The room was wonderful. The beds comfortable and nicely decorated in a nice, understated way. The bathroom was nice in every way. “Breakfast was marvelous”, to quote my German husband
