Best Western Carlisle

Booking.com actually messed up our reservation and the info they transferred to the hotel was for an accessible room and a room with one bed. These were not accurate. Nida at the front desk was professional and competent. She quickly and efficiently corrected the error and demonstrated a superior level of customer service in the process. It made us want to never book with Booking.com again and to always reserve at Best Western. We continue to have positive experiences staying at Best Western hotel - it seems they have redesigned themselves in every way and are succeeding in providing a positive guest experience.

Booking.com messed up the room accommodations we needed.

Very big room .All re-done and decorated in good taste. Good location.

The room was very recently re-decorated (probably even the same day) Very strong smell of glue,coming from the new carpets. I had an allergic reaction and asked for a change of the room ,but everything was full booked, so we needed to leave. We were not charged - wich is normal -not their fault (maybe they should have ventilated ) - and not ours. The young woman from the reception was nice and helpful with all the situation).

I was very pleased. The staff was friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The towels and decor were better quality than most motels in the same price range. The breakfast was good. Several items to choose from and some little extras like raisins, and nuts for oatmeal. I would definitely stay there again.

They need a little bit bigger sign. I drove past it at first as it sits back in away from the road and the sign for it that you see from the road Isn’t that noticeable.

Staff was very friendly and we were able to check in a little before 2pm. it was also nice that check in wasn’t until 4pm.

The rooms were not quite like the pictures, but due to recent updates rather than a “bait and switch”. they just need to update the photos. Also, the internet was a bit wonky and I had some difficulty taking a couple of meetings via zoom, so this may be a factor for you if you are a toad-warrior type.

We had an overnight stay to attend a nearby college event for my son. We had a handicapped accessible room on the first floor which was clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast provided exceeded our expectations by not being the usual "grab & go" offerings. The woman working the front desk was super friendly and helpful and after we checked out, called to let me know that we had forgotten an item; luckily we were still in the area and could come back to retrieve it. If my son ends up attending the nearby college, we will be staying here again!

Clean room. Exterior door close to our room.

I didn't like that the exterior door was propped open a few times, I did close it. Then, the door was difficult to open. This is a safety issue. In case of fire, the door won't open, but if you prop it open, now you free access to the rooms without the need for a key card so anyone can get in.

I liked that all the rooms were on the first floor. The woman who checked me in was friendly, efficient, and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking. I would consider returning to this hotel.

the last Best Western I stayed at had an in-room phone that didn't work. When I checked the phone in this room, it did not work either. Is Best Western doing away with in-room phones?

Hotel was easy to access from the PA Turnpike. The property is apparently in the middle of renovations based on the rolls of carpeting we saw. Our room looked freshly renovated and we had no complaints. We were only there for one evening so we did not get to see all they offered.

Very clean, breakfast was good, staff was friendly.

Plumbing needs updated, continuously getting stopped up. If the side doors got closed you couldn’t get back in with your keycard you had to walk back through the lobby to get back to your room.

The beds were amazing, comfortable. The staff were nice. And I believe all the rooms are on the 1st floor. So much easier then waiting for elevators.

The only thing i didn't love was the stains and everything in our room. The carpet had a lot of stains and the chair beside the bed had some nasty looking stains. I would at least remove the chair.
