Ontario Inn

The room is spacious with 1 bed. There is a walk-in shower instead of a bath tub with shower head which I much prefer in motel rooms.

It's cold and we turned on the window heating unit. Whenever it started to heat, the fan made really loud noise and I was waken up by the noise at night.

The room was clean and well stocked. We didn't have any issue with noise. We couldn't even hear the neighbors. Plenty of storage space. And we absolutely loved Fluffy!

My only complaint was the water temperature would fluctuate while taking a shower.

This motel is an older property, of a classic design, as you can see from the photos. The room had the greatest number of electric outlets and usb ports of any motel I stayed at during a two week trip. No strange arrangements or daisy chaining cables was needed to recharge my electronics. Everything worked and I can't say that about several of the less expensive numbered motels I used. Staff friendly and breakfast, though basic, had a range of fresh fruit and other items that I enjoyed.

Located on a main arterial street sometimes noise from autos or kid moto racers pass by but it's not a busy truck route thank god. Rarely an ambulance to or from a nearby hospital comes near. Well off the mainline freeway so a small bit of driving required, nothing difficult.

Room was very clean and they were pet friendly.. Fantastic area for pets behind the inn.

It was very noisy with street noise for country people like us. I suspect the window is single pane because it didn't block any of the noise at all. I thought the price was quite high for the age of the facility, no bathtub, and no pool. We were in a pinch since our reservations at another hotel were canceled last minute due to a water line issue. We were just happy to find a place to stay last minute even if it was $50 more.

Very clean room, comfortable bed, nice shower. Check-in went well and efficiently, but not overly friendly (didn't smile once). Nice to have fridge and coffee maker and they offered nice breakfast for a budget motel. I always wish budget motels would include sheer curtains in addition to the blackout ones to give some natural light along with privacy, but they never do...this place didn't have them either.

Noisy a/c and fan and person at front desk could have smiled... (but that's fairly minimal)

Ontario Inn was a very smart choice for me to stay at while on a solo road trip. I arrived late, and asked for late contactless check-in, and the motel accomodated me and everything went smoothly. I always try to stay at privately run, or smaller motels vs. the large chains, since I feel there is more of a personal touch, things are higher quality and not done in bulk. Really appreciate this motel.

We needed a place to stay for one night in between Salt Lake City and Portland. This was a perfect little motel with free parking and breakfast. Check out isn't til noon so we had plenty of time to pack all our stuff and get back on the road. I also loved petting the official hotel greeter, fluffy.

Some of our towels had specks of something on them, but we just didn't use those ones.

My dogs and I so appreciate the welcoming staff and facilities. The only motel I know of with a fenced in backyard to play with my dogs in a safe and beautiful setting.

Room was booked for a Friday night. The street cruising was a bit loud but ended by midnight and was nothing running the fan didn't obsure.

The property was clean and comfortable. It had just what we needed for a quick overnight stay. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious.

Space was adequate, but the table and two chairs seemed too much for the space. Other than that it was great.
