Super 8 by Wyndham Baker City

We came with a large cycling group. We used to do this trip every year and we always stayed at best western. This stay was every bit as good as I remembered. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating, even though we tend to take over a bit. They let us use the dining room for our team lunch and it was perfect. Breakfast was very tasty and the rooms were clean. They had no problem when all of us came trapsing through with their bikes. And the bed was amazing! Location is perfect. Only blocks to the downtown excitement so no driving. Thank you! We will see them all next year!

Room was large and clean. Bed was comfortable. Pillows were so soft! Breakfast was good. All employees I talked with were wonderful!! Because I was towing a trailer, the parking area for big rigs behind the motel was perfect. Easy access to the interstate.

The room was handicap accessible, which was nice. But, the shower was EXTREMELY slippery and there was no mat provided. The air conditioner was noisy.

I was ecstatic that the property was clean. That is MOST IMPORTANT. Not fake clean, but truly clean. Eggs were hard as a rock, everything else was terrific. A little hard and uncomfortable but pillows wonderful. I was coming in from a long trip and was exhausted. This is right off the interstate so absolutely perfect. So happy it was clean and there was a lovely breakfast offered overall. I felt safe. Thank you on this one Super 8.

Staff was friendly. Accommodations were quiet and comfortable. We have been staying here on our way to and from Oregon for the past 30+ years. The upkeep of the building has been good. Thank you.

Need more carts for getting luggage from the car to the room and back. Front desk should let guests know they are available. Thanks.

I liked pretty much everything. The staff were nice and the breakfast was warm biscuit and gravy, scrambled eggs and fresh made waffles amongst other stuff but not just a grab and go like they have had at other hotels due to COVID. The room was clean and the location was great, right off the freeway. We did not use the pool or hot tub.

The bed was not comfortable and neither were the pillows. That could just be my preference though. We also had a blanket with a whole in it.

I had been driving for 12 hours and 3 other places were booked so I hopped on here and booked a room. When I got to the location, the gentleman at the desk fixed the reservation for me. The room itself is great. Lovely giant, black and white nature photos above both beds. The air conditioner is a little older but works like a CHAMP! The shower head had the right amount of pressure (I have long thick hair so ots a must for me lol). I really liked the covers, nothing too heavy. And the bed was super comfortable. Kudos Super 8. THANK YOU for being here and letting rest in my road trip. If I had back this way, I will definitely be stopping again.

NA man, I don't have anything negative today. Everything seems to be in order at this location.

Having breakfast included and an indoor pool were amazing! Especially traveling with kids. The room was clean, the hotel didn't smell funny, the room smelled clean, the bedding smelled clean. Food was good, and there was a good variety!

Hallways were a little dark. Dining room was a little small.

I stay at this same hotel every year, they are very accommodating to book me the same room with the jacuzzi tub!

The hotel was very busy this weekend, I was told there was a no pet policy however the majority of the guests had their pets. I woke up to repeated doors slamming and dogs barking which was very unfortunate, and not necessarily at the fault of the hotel, just rude guests.

We got a room with a hot tub, it was very nice to enjoy a spa like experience in the privacy of our room. I also enjoyed the public pool and hot tub for a morning swim. The front desk staff was very helpful in helping us figure out our take-out meal options and getting it to us.

The breakfast didn’t have much for a vegan to eat. It would be nice to have more than a piece of fruit and some juice.

Breakfast was good and hearty. Most of the guests were construction workers it looked like. Would have like maybe a bit more on the lighter side, but it was good.

AC in our room didn’t get cold , and it was hot, but good enough we could sleep.
