Owner welcomed us at the front desk. Gave us a complimentary drink and even took us to see our room before paying for it. Nice clean room. Everything we needed for a good night's rest for a great price. Also told us where to get the best donuts and breakfast sandwiches before getting back on the road.
It is a little off the beaten path, but absolutely worth the few extra miles to see what an old time roadside motel should be.

The staff is excellent and just as nice as can be.... they helped me get my boarding passes when I was leaving so I did not have to do that at the airport
The room was very clean and a nice size... king size bed and a desk so you could put your iPad and stuff on it to get it charged... the tv was in very nice also
