Hyatt Place Cincinnati/Sharonville Convention Center

I booked this hotel for a convention held at the Sharonville Convention Center, and was pleasantly surprised. The room was fantastic and had comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom, plenty of towels, a variety of shapeable pillows, clean facilities, and curtains that did a great job in blocking out light. It had a surprisingly decent hot breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. Great dining area, too. The staff were friendly and helped me extend my stay when I realized I only booked two nights instead of three. The lobby was decent. The wifi was good enough, and I had no hassle in connecting to it. The price is reasonable.

I'm the kind of person who can always find something to nitpick. Honestly, I struggle to think of a single thing to complain about. The area around the hotel is a little rough, but I picked this hotel for the purpose of not having to leave the convention center. Even beside that, it's not a terrible location. There's plenty of restaurants just around the corner.

The property seemed very new, and extremely clean. The free breakfast was really good as well. The location was just off the freeway and near a lot of restaurants, also not far from downtown Cincinnati. The staff was okay, they weren’t extremely friendly.

I did not know upon booking that my room was a connected room, so the people next door to us were quite loud. I also hadn’t realized when I booked that animals were permitted, most of them were really good but there was a big dog across the hall that barked day and night.

We were there for my granddaughter's dance competition. The Hyatt Place was very close to the auditorium where the competition was taking place. The breakfest was good and hot. It was better than most hotels I have stayed. The rooms were big and roomy. The beds were very comfortable.

In the mornings, the shower would not get hot, but at night, I was able to get a good hot shower. Also, there were items left in the refrigerator that were left from the previous guest.

The staff were ALL very friendly Laynie, Joe, Shayna, Laynies daughter, and the chef in the kitchen. Exceptionally trained and pleasant at all times.

Small thing would be to switch up breakfast a bit. Breakfast was ALWAYS HOT and FRESH, but eggs, bacon/sausage/waffles/pancakes for 5 days for me personally was meh. And, a bit more fresh fruit options aside from bananas and oranges. Honestly, that was just a personal thing my son LOVED it. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I would definitely book again.

It seemed to be very clean.

I tried to increase the heart because my room was very cold. I lowered the heat to 80 degrees but room was still cold. So I contacted the front desk associate and she told me that maintenance was gone for the evening and would not return until the morning. She suggested putting me in another room but started I needed to come down to get the key. I never came down. It was late and I had on pajamas. I felt since I was inconvenienced she should have brought the key card up to me.

The facilities were great. We enjoyed our stay. Our family was in Cincinnati for cancer/medical treatment for our grandson. It was a calming and nurturing respite for the task at hand. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly!

The breakfast was ok. It could use some updates. The eggs were dry and no flavor. The waffles were too crispy. The holding area flat top doesn’t hold the food. The quality of the product drops quickly. The coffee station isn’t very extensive. The toppings bacon bits, shredded cheese and salsa were great options.

During our stay, there was a large thunder storm that knocked out the electricity to a large area after we arrived. The staff was not sure when the electricity would come back on, but we stayed the first of two nights. Despite the fact there was no electricity, the room remained cool during the night and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept on at a hotel. The room and facilities were clean. We did not have the opportunity to partake of the breakfast (no electricity prevented preparation), but the staff did have various none perishable items out for consumption. As the morning continued with no electricity, the staff began notifying everyone they were closing the hotel a noon. They made suggestions as to similar hotels in the area that still had vacancies. The staff was very corrigible, friendly, and helpful. We would stay here again.

One of the best hotels I've had the chance to book! We had the 2 Queen suite and I probably had the best shower of my life there with the multiple shower heads. Room was very spacious, had plenty of room to place things without it being in the way. Was convenient and barely had to drive anywhere during our stay. Will definitely book again if I can

The king suit was fantastic and the accessible shower was heaven. Indoor pool was large but slightly cooler than I would have preferred. The food from the bar was excellent! Staff was extraordinary!

My only real complaint was the lack of hand bars for the handicap toilet was a small problem when transferring from a wheelchair and the chair lift in the pool was down.

Great location, a short drive to Kings Island. Well-kept place, modern & clean. Staff was nice & helpful, always smiling. Gym room opens 24 hours a day.

Breakfast options were very limited. Food was gone long before breakfast time ended. Could use some more equipment at the gym or replace broken ones.
