really there was no breakfast. due to all the covid crap most hotel/motels have cut back or stopped it. no cereal no milk no Danish nothing really for breakfast but rice crispy treats and pop tarts. the linen smelled clean bathroom was very clean. the staff was friendly but not sure why but it took way into the day 3/4/5 pm before some rooms where cleaned, maybe thats the plan or like everybody else short staffed. the neighborhood was a bit run down (methville) but lucky thing! there was a police station right across the street. Awesome! but no troubles at all our 3 nights there. and staff was awesome. we will stay there again.

Breakfast was fine- we appreciated having fresh fruit, and a variety of selections for continental breakfast- good coffee too. The location is actually fine, however, we are visiting a relative in Adams County, so Brown's was a bit far.

The decor in the renovated rooms was really lovely- updated Country style. I'd love to install those bathtubs at home! We preferred the brighter rooms upstairs to the dark blue walls in some rooms downstairs, chic though they are. I was sorry, also, not to have a hairdryer, nor small shampoo/conditioner bottles- I would usually expect that in a motel as nice as Brown's in all other ways.

Beautiful location a nice staff

Was our second night staying first night was in a queen recommended not to get a queen It was nasty and small you could sit on the toilet And drink out of the sink at the same time. Got a king the next night didn't even look like the same hotel. King room was beautiful comfortable beds highly recommend the kings..

For the price, Brown’s was a sweet deal. Close to Maysville and our king room had been remodeled recently. Front desk clerk was so kind and fun and made restaurant and pub suggestions. Coming back in two weeks, will stay here.

it's a very nice small motel at a great value. it's a nice location next to the river. the staff is very helpful and friendly.

the only thing I feel that they should improve on. it's the distance between the toilet and and the sink you literally have to set sideways on a toilet just to use it that's the only negative thing I have about that motel. but I understand that's how it was built. And it would be a major construction project. but I would definitely be back because the one negative thing I have about the motel is not enough to keep me from not coming back.

Staff members I encountered were all very nice. Room was small but clean, and prices were more affordable than some.

No outside lighting, which made it difficult to see to get to my room. Also, no lamp in the room, only an overhead ceiling fan with light. So you have to get out of bed to go turn the light off and on.

I suppose breakfast was ok if you didn't mind pop tarts. I did drink juice and enjoyed reading newspaper each morning.

The desk clerk was not very friendly. Only used yes or no to any question. Didn't offer any conversation.

Updated rooms, no carpets in rooms. Clean rooms.

You couldn't adjust the shower head pressure at all. And there was no coffee maker in the room.

Motel obviously built in 50s or early 60s, but it was in outstanding condition. Kudos to the owners for keeping the entire facility so well maintained. Definitely recommend it to other travelers, and if traveling that way again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
