O.Henry Hotel

The historical aspect was perhaps the biggest draw. I'd heard of the hotel from someone involved with Odyssey of the Mind, but the place is a bit on the expensive side for most of us who volunteer for such activities.

The room and history were wonderful, but on a teacher's salary in NC (46th down the list in the US), it is not something I would be able to plan regularly. It was more for the historical experience.

Hotel overall was very clean. Including the room. They have done a great job with the decor and design making you feel as if you have stepped back in time. We ate two meals at Green Valley Grill (dinner and brunch) and both were excellent. Enjoyed the aveda bath products and harney & sons tea (which I happen to drink at home) ! Would most definitely stay here again,

no cleaning service for the room unless requested (we arrived late, and could not request it in time for the following day). I believe, by now, cleaning the room every morning should be the default, in a good quality hotel, unless the guest explicitly opts out. covid is no longer a good excuse for lack of service.

I have stayed at the O Henry several times, this time I had a horrible time sleeping, so did my husband, The mattress was just way too hard. I asked at the front desk if they had gotten new mattresses and she stated that they had. She also explained that we could have ask for a soft mattress when we made our reservation. I wish I had know this sooner. The room was great but the mattress was just terrible. The service is always wonderful and I really enjoy staying at the O Henry.

The mattress was way too firm and so uncomfortable and the pillows were too soft, it is nice to have a mixture.

Breakfast & Brunch/ Lunch was incredible. I opted to stay at O'Henry's because my parents stayed there. I was going to stay somewhere else due to price because it was more then I wanted to spend.

Price could have been a little lower. Hard to figure out how to use the sound system in the rooms. The smell in the Hotel smelled like old smoked salmon. Mabye do something about the smell of your hotel like they do in Vegas with mandalay Bay or MGM Grand.

I loved everything about my stay. I was attending a wedding, and having the location within minutes of the event was great. One of my favorite things to do is shop, and having a shopping center literally within walking distance. I was on the top floor which gave me a view of my favorite store. Last but not least the staff was kind, pleasant and very attentive to making my stay an experience to remember. I will be staying again and recommend everyone to stay at least once.

There was literally nothing I didn't like about my stay except I should have planned for an extra night.

i like the robe that i bought . i was very clean. loved that it have a speakers in the bathroom so that i could play music for my partner while they were in the tub. keep up the good work.

i was charged on booking . com and charged at the hotel and still holding my funds until this day. the price for the stay was a little high but what do you expect. nice hotel = Nice price.

The hotel was excellent. I had a great stay and will definitely consider staying here in the future. Very clean, beautiful room, friendly staff.

If the location wasn’t so close to the highway it would have been perfect, but even though it was close, the noise was not bad.

Staff outstanding, room clean and comfortable. I'm particular about bathrooms and this one was so clean! I tried to find something wrong with the room and couldn't. Thanks O. Henry

I couldn't find a thing to not like. This hotel is awesome.

it isn’t well serviced by the basics such as laundry or room service - it is connected to a great restaurant but it is difficult to get in and to order food
