Comfort Inn & Suites

People were very helpful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. We are Hilton rewards members, but the people at the Hilton property where we were trying to stay, were not helpful, uninterested in our needs and could not put us up for the stay we needed. We searched for another local property and found the Comfort Inn & Suites...better property with better rooms and at a lower price, and we weren't even Choice Rewards members...we are now though. Not feeling good about our Hilton arrangement; apparently it holds no value with the Hilton properties and they didn't seem interested or impressed when we explained that we were Hilton members. Oh well, it helped us to discover something much better.

The hotel lobby was clean and inviting. They had fresh lemon water set out and a great little snack bar. The decor was nice—lots of photos of nature from the surrounding area, which seemed to make the hotel feel more a part of the town than apart from the town. The bedding was awesome! The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The shower and hotel soaps were really nice as well.

The hotel could use some better street signage. As I approached the area, I thought my GPS had something wrong because the sign is not very prominent. There were a few parts of the building that were showing some age—things that might be due for an update. The entry door to my room looked a little worn—just a cosmetic thing, but that is a guests first impression of the space. My room window was unlocked, which was a little unsettling, but I always check them when I go into a hotel.

Central location to everywhere we wanted to go and room was nice and clean. Staff was nice. Very affordable compared to other hotels around the area we looked at.

Only downside was the breakfast. Food ran out starting about an hour and a half before breakfast hours were over and staff said no more food was available to be brought out. However, the hotel was full.

Super clean and well kept. Attractive, contemporary decor with lots of local beauty in the wall art. Good breakfast selection. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Friendly, courteous staff. Felt very safe. Would definitely stay here again.

Plastic cutlery and styrofoam plates (it's Brevard! Go with something recyclable!). Sloooow elevator.

The front desk staff. I was there when an event happened at 1:00 in the morning Memorial Day weekend. The fire alarm went off. The staff was very good at getting everybody out of the building and handling a few disgruntled guests. But the staff did everything right. When they seemingly couldn't turn it off themselves, the staff called the police and the fire department. They were smart and fast about their decisions.

The room was great! Staff wonderful! Outside front cement needs cleaning and carpet in hallway. Trash in laundry room was overflowing, but the evening staff was quick to clean and freshen the area before my clothes could finish washing. We are early morning folks, so never tried breakfast, but the night staff always had our fresh coffee for our 5:30 AM departure. Overall a great stay! We have stayed at this location for 3 years. We will continue. Tried your cousin, (the new Holiday Inn Express) a few weeks before and came back to this location because of the VERY low toilets. It was new and beautiful, but the child size toilets were not senior citizen friendly. Thanks for keeping the standard size at this location!

Feel fresh comfortable. Breakfast is awesome.

The pool water need to be clean often. To do the laundry , I need to purchase detergent and fiber sheet $2/time/each. To start the machines also need $2(4 quarters)/time. The dryer need to be cleaned often.

I liked the convenience of the location! Close to Pisgah where our campsite was. It was very clean and spacious! The pool was nice too and the seating. I loved the fact that there was a lift to help any persons with disabilities access the pool!

Breakfast was ok,have had better breakfast at other Comfort Inns

Put on website online or somehow that the pool was closed!! No vent in bathroom Online it said only king rooms were available, we know the motel was nowhere near full every evening there was less than 10 cars in parking lot, also another visitor said same thing .

It was a nice hotel ,however when asked staff upon arrival and in am to begin my day no one had any brochures or info about my adventure. You need to place box full of brochures for people to know what's arranged the area
