Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Boone, NC

Everyone on the staff we had contact with was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was very available and breakfast was serviced by Jaime who was friendly, helpful and stayed on top of things. Our room was comfortable, and the bed was good. Would definitely stay there again.

When we checked out we could not get a receipt for our payment. We were told that our receipt would come from the third party, Booking.com, that we had used. I've used them before at other places and always received a receipt from the hotel. Seems they could have given us something to show payment.

Location, helpful, professional staff

Bath towels need to be larger. They don’t cover us larger folks.

Location was great. Room was comfortable.

Pool area could use some TLC. Pool had lot of hair floating around in it. No pool towels. Outdated signs in pool area. Trash that we took out of our room, along with other travelers doing the same sat in the hallway for almost 24 hours.

The location was great! It was easy to get in and out. The facility was clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. We requested extra towels and pillows and they made sure that we got everything wanted. The breakfast was delicious! The morning we ate there, they served biscuits and gravy and had a waffle station, in addition to cereal, oatmeal, bagels, and muffins. The pool wasn't large, but is was enjoyable and very clean.

The size of the room was great

Breakfast- We had stayed at other motels during this week and their breakfast was a hot breakfast with oatmeal, western omelets, bacon, etc. And the day that we arrived at this location we noticed a sign reading about the breakfast so we questioned some of the staff and spoke with the manager and a discussion about breakfast was tied in with the virus. To the best of my remembrance was the last comment from manager was, we need to get all the kids vaccinated and that was a little offensive to me.

The ease of check in & check out. Also the lady who did breakfast during our stay was super kind and very helpful!

The rooms could be updated. The temperature of the room where the indoor pool was located was too warm. It felt more like a sauna than an indoor pool.

Staff was Awsome, There was some problems with elevator not working, card reader on door not working and was replaced. And some people we noticed very upset because their booking from 3rd party didn't work out well, But Things are mechanical and will fail at some point, Was a nightmare for a couple of days for the staff but they did handle it well and professionally well. And my thought is. it will be remembered, and in a good way. Look forward for another visit to your hotel in the future.

The rooms could be a bit bigger and have sitting chairs and table.

Was told on arrival” no rooms side by side”. “ No connecting rooms” Was not the truth. Rm #218 was a connecting room and no one was in the other room. We are both 78 and wanted that. He was in Rm 219 NOT Across the hall but further away on another tiny hall. Did not appreciate the lie. Yes accommodations were A+ but not happy in a hotel that misconstrued the truth the first visit to Boone, NC. Sorry!

The staff & Coffee was awesome. I spilled eggs, they were cleaned up before I could ask.

Room upstairs had OVERACTIVE OCCUPANTS The room refrigerator cover doors are unnecessary and difficult to operate The tv system is nearly obsolete. This is a nice $100.00 room I paid $180. My sister paid $ 275 for an identical next door room. That is wrong.

I understand its the season for the leaves changing colors, but I didn't realize the hotel would cost so much. But that was every hotel in the area. But I know with Country Inn & Suites its always been a nice clean hotel. With some of the other hotels chains near by it could have been a hit or miss on cleanliness, so I preferred to pay the higher price for a clean hotel.
