Holiday Inn Express & Suites Asheville SW - Outlet Ctr Area, an IHG Hotel

The beds were comfortable. The pool area outside was nice with extra seating and gazebo with tables for outdoor eating. The hot tub was nice. Breakfast was amazing! There were so many delicious choices such as: omelets, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cereals, muffins, yogurts, bagels, pancakes, juices, milk, coffee, etc. Many restaurants around deliver as well for dinner options.

The double queen room was a bit smaller than other rooms we've stayed in. The tile around the hot tub area was very slick. There was a $50 refundable deposit I had to pay on a separate card even though I already paid for room through booking.

The linens were very clean, the staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was excellent for us. The hot tub was good to have after a long day of walking at the Biltmore Estates (14 minutes away) and hiking Mount Pisgah (about 30 minutes away). The location was central for our activities but it's in a area of town where restaurants close by 9 pm. Some even by 7:30 pm.

The hot tub wasn't clean on the first night. Gladly it was a bot better on our second night. The exit from the parking lot is detrimental to vehicles. Use the entrance for exiting too if you don't want to damage your car. The mattress was firm. I prefer a medium density ot soft. Overall it was a good stay.

The bed was comfortable, had a selection of both firm and soft pillows to choose from. There was adequate lighting throughout the room. There were outlets/usb on top of the nightstand that were easily accessible for charging. Shampoo/Conditioner, Body Wash and lotion all provided in the bathroom. Even a full size hair dryer! The bath towels were great quality, not thin at all and actually large enough to cover up with. Breakfast included hot bar foods in addition to cereals and pancakes and more, all was delicious!

Nothing- had a great stay.

The employees make or break the location. The gentleman at the front desk was tasked with helping a line of check ins. He did it very calmly and professionally in a friendly manner; I was very impressed. The 2 gals working the breakfast area were constantly on the move and worked with pride and joy. They seemed to love what they were doing. Great seeing that to start the day! Love the microwave and fridge in the room.

We got a handicapped room (not by choice). I love the concept of a hand held shower, but had such a difficult time keeping the water in the shower area and making sure the hand held didn’t fall off the holder. I wonder how those with a handicap manages to navigate the shower 🤔

Very nice hotel - especially with our bad experience the night before (Extended Stay America in Savannah GA - not good). Friendly reception staff - helpful. Very nice rooms, well appointed, nice bed, nice amenities (bath, coffee). The breakfast was very good as well. And, the location was convenient. Price for what we paid was EXCELLENT. They should train Extended Stay America.

Nothing really - the driveway was a bit steep if you had a large vehicle or trailer but there was signage. The hill did give us nice views!

It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room was set up with everything you needed.

All and all everything was very good and there was not really anything I didn't like. When I checked in it took a little bit for the clerk to find me in the computer. After I show him my confirmation email he looked again and said that my name was in the system backwards. The hotel was not very impressive at first glance. But the room was extremely nice.

The hotel was in a pretty good location near the outlets. Our room was really nice and spacious and the bed was comfy. We ended up having Mountain Views which was an added bonus! The staff was super nice as well.

The only thing that wasn’t great was we were right next to the elevator and we could hear housekeeping rolling their carts on and off the elevator in the mornings. It wasn’t a huge deal but if you’re a light sleeper maybe ask to be a buy further from the elevator.

The beds were comfortable, the front staff was nice and accommodating, there was a fridge and a microwave in the room, there were plenty of grocery stores and coffee options around the property and the Biltmore was only about 10-15 mins away.

We loved that a hot breakfast was included but it was not as good as we thought it was going to be. We still did appreciate it and loved that they had Chobani yogurt. The morning food staff were kinda angry and rude. We loved that there was a hot tube and it was available so late. But it seemed a little bit dirty (not terrible though, we still used it and enjoyed it).

The location is great, it is near outlet mall and lots of dining places. The staff fas good and helpful during breakfast. This place is quite and extremely clean!!! We love it!

The linen sheets were a bit wet. The door key was a challenge, it did not work every time we incerted it, we had to try about 10 times before it opened a door.

I like fresh fruit and oranges and bananas were available; ok but not great. Coffee was available all day which was great.

My husband likes the room cleaned every day. You can choose to have it done but you can tell it's frowned upon. One day he had to ask again because we were gone from morning till late afternoon and it wasn't done. The desk said it was too late but the cleaning person volunteered to do it.
