Comfort Inn & Suites Los Alamos

The front desk people were wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have had in a long time. The room was clean, and the towels were soft and fluffy. The bed was comfortable and clean. Desk chair was a comfortable office chair, for those planning to work while staying. There was always popcorn in the lobby and coffee. The housekeeping staff and lady that prepared the breakfast always said hello and asked if they could help me when I had luggage. I did not use the gym as I am disabled and have a service dog. People here were very respectful of both me and my dog.

The only thing that was disappointing was on my second stay here, the refrigerator did not have an ice box, so I couldn't freeze the ice packs I had with me. This is important as I am traveling across the country and the temperature has been in the 90's. The first time I stayed a few days earlier the refrigerator did have an ice box. There is also a one-inch gap under the door, so all hall noise was loud and clear. A simple door sweep would solve that. But all in all, the positive things made up for these minor problems.

First time visit .. Let's just say it was terrific ... No indoor pool was a bummer and not to many eating places but it's only 3 easy driving hours from southern NM ... Alot left to do so we will get back to the area-- nice summer trip to cool awesum area More history than your mind can take ..need a week-- plus Santa fe is only 40 miles

The check-in process was very easy, and the workers were quite friendly. My room was clean and I was provided with lots of towels, etc. and never needed to ask for more of anything. Overall I can't say anything was wrong with the room.

There is very little that I didn't like, but a minor complaint would be that the elevator was pretty slow. Additionally (probably due to a lack of space and competition in Los Alamos) the prices were higher than I would have expected for a similar accommodation in a different city.

Friendly staff, nice rooms, and good breakfast. Most importantly, it is close to LANL.

Having free Wi-Fi is nice, its speed is also acceptable. However, the wifi asks me to sign in with the passcode multiple times each day, which was quite annoying.

Besides the very helpful staff and the location, the most outstanding motel feature was....the electronic door keys! Yes, something as simple as a well working door opening system is invaluable to this traveler. Unlike other motels I've used, your door system works easily, and works every time. No trips to the office on the second day when keys seem to usually fail. With your hands full, and bathroom urges calling, it is great to always touch your key and open the door!

I would have rated the hotel as 7/10 but the support and extreme help received from conciergie made me move up. Thank you, I do not know your name but you have been friendly helpful well beyond your duties!

Better and larger breakfast

We loved everything about our stay. From check in to check out. Sonya made everything super fun and easy. Plus the beds are amazingly comfortable.

It is a really nice hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful and the rooms were spacious and clean.

The breakfast they provided due to covid, was less than what I expected. They only provided some granola bars and muffins which were not that filling or healthy. The coffee was ok.

From the hotel you can walk the grocery store and restaurants in 5mn. Quiet hotel and very good staff.

No swimming pool.

Staff kindly upgraded me for my Christmas stay.

Elevator seems marginal. Exercise machine and free wt offerings could be improved
