Hilton Garden Inn Ridgefield Park

The hotel was in a great location and easy to access. Felix was absolutely amazing! He greeted us with a huge smile and a warm welcome. He gave us tips on how to get into NYC for very cheap and a great places to eat while we were there. The bartender was equally nice! The staff made a purpose to check on us and made us feel very safe.

Mr Escobar at the front desk was such an amazing person. Started conversation right away made me feel extremely comfortable. I believe thats his last name as we had a conversation about last names since mine is a weird one (he has glasses lol) All in all he was great. Also Stephanie called me the next day because my daughter left her ipad in the room and she was nice enough to hold it for me. Great great staff!

Only con was my bathroom smelled like i lit up a cigarette, not sure if someone was smoking in the room next door.

The wasn’t very good with communication when we were checking in and didn’t make me feel welcomed. Other staff we met during our stay were amazing though. We checked in shortly after midnight. Person at the desk barely said anything and didn’t even tell me about deposit and just asked me to put my credit card and gave me the keys. I figured he charged extra for deposit and confirmed that next day but I have never had a situation where the staff wouldn’t explain that and the amount to you before they asked you to pay.

The service was awwsome!! The Front Desk, Felix was so awesome!! He is so nice and helpful. The airline mishandled my bag and so my bag didn't come until 3 days after me. He offered me personals, gave me tips on how to handle the situation and just made me feel like all was well despite the situation.

I actually booked with another hotel in the area and when I got there they did not have my reservation (even though I had my email confirmation) and said they did not have any available rooms.. What a blessing though because I ended up with the best hotel experience I've ever had. Location was great, really close to NYC. Nice updated and clean hotel.

Standard hotel. Decent amenities, clean rooms and comfortable beds.

Pulled into the parking lot after multiple flight delays around 1am on a Thursday to people partying in the hotel parking lot, blasting music and smoking weed. Not exactly comforting. Went downstairs to get breakfast, spoke to a lady sitting at the kitchen counter, she checked her clock to make sure it was time for breakfast, 5 mins past 7am, then proceeded to go to the back kitchen to complain a customer was there to make them do their job. Needless to say I skipped breakfast and went to a local Cafe.

The location was perfect for our stay, and I have always enjoyed staying at Garden Inns except for the one negative as stated below.

The property was fine, but one thing I have never liked about the Garden Inns was no free breakfast. Unfortunately, this time we also had a situation with the shower head. My husband tried to adjust the spray, and the entire thing came apart in his hand. By the time he had finished his shower, it was hanging by a thread. We did inform the front desk about the problem, and the young lady very kindly adjusted our charge by quite a percentage, which we were very grateful for, and ensured we would stay at a Garden Inn again in the future.

Location, comfortable clean and quiet room

Pool was being renovated in the summer time. Bed was on the hard side, but sufficed the one night I stayed. Front desk could have been a little more attentive. Felt like I was interrupting the one who assigned my room.

I might solely be back just to see Felix again! The most amazing service I’ve received at any hotel in the US. I travel a lot and I have never encountered someone so friendly during a check-in! Thankful we stayed here and got the chance to relax for a night! The room was impeccably clean, the bed was super comfortable and I need to know what brand that comforter was cause we almost didn’t wake up! And just wanna thank Felix again for being so accommodating, hopefully he’s there next time we come so I can bring him mangu with extra onions lol

The complimentary wifi kept cutting off on my ROKU, it isn’t powerful enough for streaming through the roku so I’ll just pay the fee for higher speed next time

the heat/ air temp. the hotel is way too hot and the room thermostat didn’t work. has to open the window in December.

There is a bus stop in front of the hotel that takes you to Times Square in 20 minutes. Make sure you figure out the schedule before setting off.

Not much to do around the hotel. Once you come back in the evening, you are stuck.
