Hampton Inn Old Bridge NJ

At the time of my stay (April, 2022), this is a brand new hotel, built within the past year! Everything feels new and clean. I must admit this is a simple Hampton Inn--the general aesthetic of the hotel is very basic, but it gets the job done and fulfilled my expectations!

One of the lights in the room was broken--but this was a very minor detail. I informed the staff of this upon check out, who took note of it. Also, while I only stayed for one night, a member of my family was staying here for several days, and wished a more comprehensive housekeeping service was offered during their stay (as the service is currently limited due to covid.) However, this again was a minor detail.

The breakfast was fine, nice selection of warm and cold choices.

We stayed for two nights and there was no maid service. This may have been my fault for not requesting it. Also and just to pick nits, the sheets did not fit the bed well although the bed itself was very comfortable. No "real" coffee with the in-room Keurig, curiously, only decaf. Made me wonder if the room had been serviced at all recently.

We really liked how comfortable the beds and pillows were. The whole room just had a comfy, homey vibe. My son didn't want to leave because he kept saying "I love this place!" The breakfast was amazing.

We didn't like that the air conditioner kept turning off. We understand it's motion sensored, however, it was a huge inconvenience.

The front desk young girl Amy was rude, not helpful and when checking in could have mentioned ice machines are on all floors. Amy was passive aggressive and flat out rude to my staff when they were trying checked in. Then was rude to me when I came to the desk to correct things and add it to my credit card. I spent a lot of money on 2 rooms that were way overpriced for 2 nights. The manager was great!

All the times I have been there I didn't have breakfast I always left too early for breakfast

I love everything about this hotel this is the only one I stay at sometimes I feel like the prices are a little high I am a senior citizen I wish they had some plan for us seniors

Location was good. Liked the bathroom.

Kinda dark, could use more lighting. AC unit was loud, turned it off but it still ran, but with hot air coming out. Also a complaint about all hotels, you need bigger garbage cans inside the rooms. 2 tiny ones are not enough.

the room was great and the bathroom was amazing just there to sleep and shower so couldnt tell anymore. The breakfast was really good and alot of variety except for no fresh fruit like bananas or oranges

The breakfast was great and the night woman named Nancy was excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful

I did ask for a quiet room, however they put a whole group of 12 year-old girls across from me that were screaming and running up and down the hallway until I complained. I did not like that because I had a small child to put to bed.

Clean, large room. Bathroom big.

Asked for 1 King and got 2 Queens instead. Free breakfast didn't look great so we went out for breakfast at the Broad Street Diner in Kingport.

The breakfast was good!

Upon arriving, the lady at the front desk was rude. I was attempting to change our mode of payment and trying to communicate this to her; she kept repeating the same statement and the volume of her voice was escalating. Wearing a mask and not speaking articulate English were not in her favor.
