Hampton Inn & Suites Mahwah

I loved my spacious room, my family having access to the lounge area for game night, the children stayed in the swimming pool. There was ample parking for people with disabilities as well restaurants in the area. We rented the conference room and the staff assisted in setting it up. The premises was kept clean and cleaning staff available and visible. Front desk staff was very helpful in answering questions and provided topnotch assistance. I would definitely stay here again.

The mattress was too hard, toilet too low, and the breakfast options was limited.

I like the front desk customer service. The quick check in and out . Chris and Matthew are 5 Stars great!

The breakfast of eggs and potatoes taste weird that they need to change the oil. The eggs are are fried in cheap oil. It looks great but what is it fried in gives a bad taste. The basic breakfast presentation is good and the coffee could be better quality. Other that that I always stay at Hampton because of good location and great front desk service and the maids are nice, polite and very good! I will always come back.

All front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very pleasant, accommodating, and helpful! The rooms were all clean and as advertised. The common area in the lobby was good for our group to gather and eat together. The indoor pool and breakfast buffet were great services to have for this price point.

Two things: 1. More chairs are needed alongside the pool I order to accommodate all families that go to enjoy the indoor pool. 2. Pool bathroom floor was wet and didn’t have any paper towels.

This was an affordable place for a nice size room with a huge bathroom! We were very satisfied with our stay. We spent 3 nights there. The front desk was friendly, and the housekeeping was excellent.

We were able to hear some noisy neighbors who were talking loudly in the hallway but we were able to mute them out by keeping the fan on “constant”.

I was ok with the breakfast. The accommodations were fine. Bummer on the pool and fitness room but ok given the current situation.

The breakfast could have been better - not a good offering for children. Staff were fine. The change in the cleaning policy should have been shared in advance. I shouldn't have to read about it in the newspaper the day of our arrival. Also, either take down the mask signage or enforce it. Only saw a few other people wearing masks (none of the front desk staff were wearing one.) I was glad to see housing keeping was.

The whole hotel was very very clean; one of the cleanest I've seen in a long time. No stains on carpets, chairs or walls. No dust, no crumbs. Very clean linens. Great soap/shampoo products. Great shower. Friendly staff. And an overall quiet hotel.

The bagged breakfast they had was not what I was told I would be getting at the time of check-in. I was told it would be a bagel w/cream cheese, yogurt, hard boiled eggs & water. But the bags only had a bagel, water & an apple. I was just a little disappointed. Also the bed wasn't super comfy.

Location is great being next to Route 17 - the room was quiet with no noise from the highway right outside. We stayed Saturday to Tuesday for a trip to Legoland, NY, which this location offers great connectivity to - about a 35 minute drive. The breakfast on the weekend (Sunday) was a packed bag, however on Monday and Tuesday this was a self service buffet with cooked food, breads, cereals etc. which was great. The hotel overall is quiet, clean and well maintained and we enjoyed our stay here.

Breakfast awesome...excellent choices and the dinning area very impressive..new and inviting. Matthew at the front desk was very very attentive to answering our questions and really went out of his way in all matters concerned. I have and will continue to stay at your hotel most definitely

Not your problem..it was cold outside. BBBBrrrrrrr. Wish WE were on an island enjoying warmer temps...

This was my second time staying at this hotel and the experience was just as good as the first. Ideal location in order to drive to shopping and food. Friendly staff and clean hotel.

The value and location are great. The building is well maintained. The room is clean and looks like the photos.

This was the second weekend in a row that I stayed there and both times there were people staying there that were partying and making loud noise. The staff didn't do anything to get the unruly guests to stop. When I left my room this morning there were delivery food boxes and napkins in the hallway. The walls are thin and it is easy to hear everything. I like this place but it would be nice if the staff would get rid of guests that are loud and that make a mess.
