Seemed to be run by kids who don’t really know yet what customer service is. They would answer questions if asked but not really “friendly.” I would expect a “Hilton” acknowledgment at a place as nice as yours - not a “Motel 6” acknowledgment. But, again, they seemed to be kids so they probably haven’t learned those skills yet. Perhaps, training could include people skills.

Good location, and even better after the renovations since a previous visit four years earlier. Though we do like the name of Jack Daniels better :).

New electronic door entry to the room was a challenge; the battery was dead when we returned after the office closed. Someone came quickly and fixed it, so all was well after that.

Clean, well appointed hotel room. Great linen. Good shower. Wall unit is new and not so loud.

If you strain your ear, you could hear TV working in the adjacent room. It was not that loud though, and what would you expect? It a wooden motel. Also breakfast was almost non existent. Better be not mentioned at all.

Chairs on balcony!! Lights in trees!! Love the blinds- I'm gonna look for those for my home!!Grab n go had good selection! We really like the walkability into pboro. Like the things to do list. Like that you take pets, tho we none...

Too few hooks and towel bars. Especially now as we're reluctant to eat out so we wanted hand towels as 'placemats.' Bathroom fan was quite loud but louder still was the room heating unit--- woke us up! It would be great to get the fridge up on a foot tall table for easier access-- we bought such a table for friend at target= inexpensive.

It was recently renovated and has new flooring, fixtures and beds. The towels are thick (important to me!) and the room was nice.

There isn’t an elevator and my bag was very heavy going up the stairs to the second floor. but 2 story properties usually don’t have elevators …

Very pleasant building in an old style. Room was large, very nicely decorated and laid out. We had a downstairs room, adjacent to a main road, but it was not too noisy. There were a few "freebies" available to guests as breakfast snacks.

There was significant heavy footfall from the room above.

clean, newly renovated, exceptional “grab and go” continental breakfast, their no key system, personable manager and office reception

the only suggestion would be to trim some bushes affecting vision of oncoming traffic trying to leave the premise

Good all-round facilities at this motel (but there isn't much competition locally so there is a danger of some complacency !)

Housekeeping was on an "if requested" basis which is unusual. Breakfast variety much better since my last visit in 2019. A general refurbishment will, I think, soon be needed : everything works but is getting just a little faded !

Convenient, Clean, friendly staff always available if needed.

We arrived in the middle of the night. I was a little nervous about location and getting my key from outside, with no one there to greet us. however, It all worked out fine.

Nice location with pretty scenery. Clean. Comfy beds.

We couldn't hear a thing at night, but in the morning we could hear the people coughing in the next room over like they were in our room. We had an adjoining room so maybe that was why.
