breakfast was good - bran flakes, 'Special K' , oatmeal, yoghurt, good coffee, no eggs but that's OK -- the windows can really be opened! so you are not just living in a box -- the swimming pool was open and very good - I went swimming twice in one day - the motel is 300 yds, from the Amtrak station - train arrives late afternoon and leaves mid-morning - ideal - I took pictures with film, not yet developed - motel s on rim of very scenic gorge - very windy, legendary 'Cut Bank wind' - motel is also next to an interesting mall
too many guns for sale in large store in mall - this is political and cultural and maybe superfluous to say - and many people like (and buy) guns

This motel was excellent. The staff was exceptional, the breakfast outstanding and almost everything was perfect. There was a restaurant and a grocery store in a shopping plaza where the motel is located.
There was no stopper in the sink and the freezer was small and frosted so it was even smaller and our food did not freeze.

The hotel is older but clean. We had a hard time finding hotels anywhere around for a reasonable price and I was happy we found this one. The main thing that made our stay so good was the staff. The lady at the front desk knew us and several others were trying to make it to Glacier Park before 6am since we didn’t have Going to the Sun road passes so she opened up breakfast at 4:30 am for us. Considering we couldn’t find gas stations even open at that time for most of our trip the food and coffee was greatly appreciated!

The location was good. Nearby the gas station, grocery stores and food. The room was a good size. I like that my view is not the street which was really nice. Bed very comfortable and clean. It has fridge and microwave. Facility has inside pool, a little space for a gym and laundry. Staffs are very friendly. Checking in and out was smooth. Definitely staying here again whenever I go on a road trip in the area. This place is 1 hour away from Glacier National Park.

For those who don't mind driving a little extra to visit Glacier National Park, this was a reasonably affordable, pleasant alternative to the really expensive and often poor alternatives right in or next to the park.
