Embassy Suites by Hilton Kansas City International Airport

The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. My husband enjoyed his made to order omelet very much. Very attentive breakfast staff. Liked the fact that there was a guest laundry. Our room was superb and very roomy.

The guest laundry was in terrible shape. If you are going to offered these facilities someone should be responsible for making sure they are clean. There was a gentleman that arrived the same time as I did and we cleaned up the washer and dryer before using them. They were in very sad shape as far as cleanliness.

We loved that you had a bar/restaurant. The "happy hour" was wonderful, but you should maybe up your snacks for that, so there is enough for all. We ordered a pizza in the restaurant/bar and it was great. Everyone was nice. The breakfast was great. The free drinks really add to the value. Thank you. We also loved that you had so much seating area in your lobby/bar area. It never felt too crowded.

better access to stairs without having to go into the gross, dirty escape route stairs. The elevators took too long, so we were willing to walk stairs. But there didn't seem to be a main staircase.

I was extremely happy with almost everything.

Breakfast could have had more choices. Especially the danishes, could have had some donuts. Maybe more choices of beverages. Happy hour was just chips and some carrot sticks. It was nice to have the tickets for free drinks but I didn't use them. I'm not a well drink drinker. But if there were more choices of types of drinks and foods, not free but at a reduced price during happy hour, I would have just ate and drank there. The bartender was very nice. There wasn't any restaurant menu information in the room or info on whether they had room service or not. I would have spent a lot of money to enjoy the hotel restaurant and bar but there wasn't that much that i could tell. When I'm staying in a hotel I like to pamper myself with these conveniences!

I was very satisfied with my room. It was a 4 night stay, so after the second night. I was out of everything. When I tried to call the front desk, I kept getting the Virtual helper. Even though that was a separate extension supposedly. So I ended up having to go down to the front desk to tell somebody I was out of towels and coffee needed my trash empty stuff like that.

They did not take pride in their hotel. I returned from a show at 8 o’clock at night when I got off the elevator there was sheets and bedspreads and mattress pads laying on the floor next to the elevator on the third floor. I called downstairs they said they would take care of it when I got up the next day and went to go take the dogs out at five in the morning it was still laying in a heap next to the elevator.

The price/quality ratio is quite good compared to other hotels when it comes to a party of five. The afternoon complimentary drinks are basic but appreciated and the breakfast gets the job done as well. If I go back to KC under the same circumstances I would not hesitate to book again.

The hotel is starting to show its age in regard to the rooms, so it looks a bit dirty in some areas.

The hotel was clean and in a great location. Our room was well sized for our family of 6. The breakfast was amazing too, fresh made omelets, pancakes and eggs any way you wanted them. It was all fresh and delicious. The 2 hour house reception with one pass per adult for adult beverages was good too.

We had 2 main complaints; 1. The pool was a little dirty for our liking as in the water and there was quite a bit of debris floating in it considering it is an indoor pool. 2. Our TV would randomly shut off and turn back on. Their engineering staff came and looked at it and reset it but it didn't resolve the issue. At 11pm we notified the front desk staff who was apologetic and took care of the issue on our bill.

I didn't like that they got rid of their hot tub and I did not like that on the third day I asked for housekeeping and I was told I cannot have it because I did not ask the day before which nowhere on anywhere is it said you have to ask the day before it just says ask for housekeeping if needed I asked and I was told I couldn't have it after the third day of being there because I did not ask the day before

There was a fire in the building and there was no one saying hey we are we're sorry for the inconvenience I've said another hotels and this has happened or something happens tragic could be a tragic situation and they always comped room never got that from you guys.

The staff was courteous and friendly SUPER NICE! My room was exceptional the only thing I was not happy with was when I brung my firestick and couldn’t use it do to a lock of some sort on the back. I also enjoyed the breakfast although I felt bad I didn’t bring any money for a tip for my made to order omelette. I almost felt like the guy purposely screwed up my omelette just because until I saw others omelette. He really needs some skills on how to make an omelette. Other than that I enjoyed my stay at the Embassy Suites. I will be back to KC and will be staying there.

The man that makes the omelets, he just threw it together like he really didn’t want to be there. At least he didn’t have a bad attitude. That was a plus.

The hotel itself was beautiful with waterfalls and greenery. We enjoyed the cocktail time with drinks and appetizers but we were blown away by the breakfast buffet. The buffet had many delicious and different options. We thought it was better than any Shoney’s buffet could ever aspire to be. We will definitely be coming back.

Can’t really think of anything we didn’t enjoy.
